Almost nothing came from the Occupy movement, as well. And from Bernie Sanders campaigns. But these movements are like small waves of a growing tide.

As Lenin said, There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen.

Generally speaking, it most often means they are fine with either she/her or they/them.

But it usually doesnt hurt to ask, as some people are either genderfluid, or have specific circumstances where one is preferred over the other.

Its a game I played for an hour or so, didnt think I liked very much, put away for a long time, then finally dusted off and gave another chance. The second time around, something clicked and I loved it, and spent a lot of time with it.

Its far from perfect, but it is definitely worth a playthrough.

Ive put I think at least 20 hours into the game so I think I can weigh in on it:

The main gameplay loop is very, very repetitive. There are a bit more than a dozen types of crime activities for you to stop, which seems like a fair amount at first, but you tend to stop between 6-10 crimes every single gameplay loop, so they tend to get stale fast.

Each of the characters having different strengths and play styles is nice, they all feel unique and suited for different things. But the controls sometimes feel clunky, and definitely not as fluid as the Arkham games.

The story is alright? Ill reserve judgment since I havent bothered to finish the game yet. The story missions themselves are fun enough, though. Its just the getting to them via the standard got out for a night on patrol gameplay loop becomes a slog.

I think honestly its a fine game, it just feels very games as a service at times and that rubs people the wrong way, especially when we have the Arkham series to look back on for comparison.

I had it for exactly one day over Memorial Day (I forget when, though, may have been 2022). I was okay by the next day but then I had this cough that kept persisting afterwards, it was strange.
I was genuinely surprised my test came back positive because I havent had much of a cough at all, and thats usually the main symptom.

How are your symptoms?

I just got it for the first time this past week.
Not terrible, but definitely not enjoyable. Worse than a regular cold/flu. Mostly lots of congestion and sinus pressure, with periods of fever. Not much coughing so far, although my throat is very sore from post-nasal drip. Feeling pretty lethargic overall.

If they want to make an animated series based off of Beauty and the Beast, 18th century France is suddenly going to have larger Black and Asian populations because, "If magic beasts and talking teacups can exist, why can't they?" If Belle's best friend is Asian and the royal captain of the guard is Black, I could still accept that this is 18th century France through an idyllic lens. But if you reimagine it so that ethnic French people make up less than 50% of the cast, you might as well set the story in Middle Earth, Eternia, or Hyrule. "French" is an architecture and not an ethnicity.

Things that existed in 18th century France, apparently:

Black people
A magical castle filled with servants who have been turned into talking furniture
Asian people
A prince who was cursed by a witch to turn into a hideous beast unless he can find true love before the last petal falls from his magical rose
A whole town of people who regularly break out into song, in perfect American English, with no accents

Am I getting this right?

Yeah, I feel like we dont want genocide, just a good old fashioned ethnic cleansing! isnt really the best argument for differentiating yourself from Nazis. Especially given that the original Nazis started off by saying the exact same thingthey only turned to the Final Solition of systematic mass killing after they realized that expelling that many people from Europe would not be logistically feasible.

I mean its definitely a list of things, I will give it that. But as the poster above pointed out, a lot of them are just proposals, which, as we saw with the student loan cancellation attempt, dont necessarily mean that anything will actually come of them. Granted, without support from Congress theres a limit to what a president can actually do aside from executive orders and administrative proposals, but it seems a bit credulous to simply give him the W for putting out proposals that might never actually live to see any sort of implementation.

Also some of them are contradictory (renewable energy growing to the #2 source, but also oil production the highest its ever been).

Also some of them contain just straight up liesthe bit about the Congo, for example, mentions China supporting the M23 rebels with drones, when most recent reporting shows that China sold attack drones to the DRC, not to the rebels (although there are reports from earlier in 2022 about rebels being captured with Chinese-made weapons, its unclear that China is tied directly to those as they sell weapons to many African nations). Also, and I admit this isnt actually relevant to the point of the article in terms of listing Bidens accomplishments, but the whole framing of the ongoing genocide, enslavement, and displacement of the Congolese people suffering under the conflict as a cobalt crisis is pretty gross to me, personally. Like a humanitarian crisis is mentioned, but the focus in on our posturing vs China over rights to the mineral resources.

And some of them are so minuscule they hardly seem worth mentioning. The extension for telehealth prescriptions for controlled drugs only lasts until the end of this year, so its a win but ultimately just kicks the can down the road a little.

Thats not to say the list is complete bullshit, though. But its definitely being padded with a lot of fluff.
