Weirdly I actually think TOTK is technically the better game, and improved upon certain mechanics quite a bit in many regards.

But it just kinda felt a bit too cartoonish at times compared to the somber post-apocalyptic vibe of BOTW.

The wording of the 22nd amendment is interesting.
"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and..." then it goes on, so it seems to imply that being elected as president twice is enough regardless of actually serving in the position, right?
So it would be really funny if they now find evidence that the 2020 election was rigged and that Trump won, and they'd be like, "sorry, you were elected twice already, Harris wins by default."

More than likely though it would default to Vance in that scenario but still funny to think about

Ranch dressing doesn't belong anywhere near a plate of hot wings. It just drowns the heat and defeats the purpose. Blue cheese dressing, however, is acceptable because the sharp and tangy taste compliments the spice, but even then it should just be used sparingly without fully dunking the damn wing in it before every bite.

"Wite-Out" (without the H) is a brand name.
It's actually called correction fluid. But it's one of those things were the brand name somehow became the general term. Like even Puffs brand tissues are refereed to as Kleenex, and generic adhesive bandages are still referred to as band-aids

Specifically on the original Genesis version of Sonic 2, I can't get all the chaos emeralds anymore. I can on the mobile and Origins versions, since I'm so used to the HD versions of the special stages that the grainy looking original is a completely unplayable mess now and I have no idea how I was ever able to do that when I was younger

the game has too many zones and acts that are just really boring, like sandopolis, marble garden, carnival night, flying batter (no idea why people love this outside of the theme), and a couple of mediocre acts in otherwise-good zones. still a good game but mania's way better and more consistent

3 started the trend of having bad bosses after nearly every level, but at least most of them are on the mindless end of bad

I disagree, I love all those zones you listed besides Marble Garden, and even by then I usually have Super Sonic already and it plus the fact that there's a lightning shield pretty early makes the zone actually fun at that point imo (unless you get crushed somewhere which is an obvious hinderance that affects all Sonic games). I do, however, share your praise of Mania.

But imo the trend of bad boss fights really started in Sonic 1. Like the Labyrinth boss that just runs away from you for example

Someone told me that the funniest part of that scene is that "steamed hams" really is an Albany expression for plain hamburgers... I think I'm being trolled guys...

Even if nothing else was different, the boss fight with Mecha Sonic, that one thing alone makes a Knuckles playthrough 100% worth it.

Just finished a Knuckles playthrough for the first time ever btw, not believing there was much of a point beforehand, and I was wrong about that

Good picks. I'm also a fan of Ice Cap from S3, and the original music for that as well. A bit disappointed with the alternate soundtrack used in Origins

Sorta. I'm all for shorter games as a lot of these 100-hour grind-fests are just hard to stay into when it comes to my every day life now. Like I just picked up Tears of the Kingdom for the first time in over a month yesterday, and I had absolutely no clue or idea what I was doing on it before. It's one of those games, and BOTW was the same way, where it's like, if I have a free hour to play it's not really worth doing, because you can't accomplish anything meaningful in an hour, you need a solid 3-5 hours to be able to just sit and play uninterrupted. And real life just gets in the way of that unfortunately. So I find myself constantly going back things like classic 2D platformers like the Genesis Sonic games, Sonic Mania, 8-bit Mario, things I can just pick up and play in one sitting even if there's nothing new to discover in any of it anymore.

But what exactly is meant by "worse graphics?" Because not everything has to be state of the art hyper realistic or anything, but I mean, don't deliberately make the game look like shit either lol
