You do not want to be in close with a home invader, and the golf club assumes there is only one and they are not physically bigger and stronger. A gun is called the great equalizer for a reason, and no one who buys a gun is not going to buy ammo for that gun.

Stop being childish thinking melee is better then a gun and that being in arms reach is better then keeping your distance.

The PS5 being thrown needs a lot of circumstances to be effective, like range, element of surprise, and how hard it is thrown and where they are hit, plus it can only be done once.

In a stress situation a gun is much more effective having multiple rounds, easier to use, and less margin of error or the attacker getting back up and killing you.

This would cause extinction so no.

A gun is for self defense and to protect loved ones. PS5 is not going to be usable as a weapon beyond an object to throw at someone.
