This band holds a special place for me, and I never expected them to release new music. I love their two albums, especially Dog Problems. Their first EP as well, which I might even like more than Interventions and Lullabies.

Idk their new song does sound kinda different. A little more alt in a small way. I'm excited to see what the rest of the album sounds like.

Kinda agree here. There's some outliers like Astro Bot but idk, most of their games are the same. If not the same story, a same-ish gameplay loop.

Also the Horizon series feels like the most astro turfed series of all time. I played through quite a bit of the first game and it's extremely mediocre.

I like most of the Safdie Bros stuff, this one just didn't have it. Maybe they should stop splitting up and directing their own things idk.

Looked beautiful at times, and there were maybe 4 or 5 really solid scenes, but for the most it was just kinda eh. I think early previews were really exaggerating the Rock's performance. Felt like a straight up table read for 80% of the movie.

Watch the documentary The Program on Netflix first. Some of what goes on at the camp seems eerily similar.

I just finished ep 3 last night. Feel like these games are really fucking dumb after the first one. The zombie one was a cool concept but the road to the strat was so braindead I kept annoyingly telling my wife "why dont they just do this" the entire time until they eventually did it lol

Still enjoying it but i feel like s3 of Squid Game was doing all of this a little better. Squid Game had me caring about multiple side characters at this point. Idek anyone's name here other than Usagi and Arisu. Couldn't care less if any of these fools got got.

Does the split screen actually work?

I played BL3 on PS4 and changing a weapon basically took 5-10m and I heard that PS5 is the same for BL4

Playing on PS5 and the game slows down when opening up a vending machine but otherwise its entirely playable in splitscreen. At least performance wise. We play split vertically because its better than horizontal imo but its still really fucking hard to see shit lol

Or if ive just straight up lost interest in the series. Gunplay feels great, weapons seem the best they've ever been, writing is solid, etc. But a lot of the faults the series has had over the years still persist and idk if i can look past it anymore. Fights go on for way too long, enemies spawn seemingly out of nowhere/behind you, map/radar/compass sucks, quests all end up being fetch quests eventually, uninspired collectibles, same bugs at launch from previous games etc.

I'll still see it through cuz its a game me and my wife can play splitscreen (which btw is really hard on the eyes lmao) but I think this might be the last one I buy. We can maybe get through 2 missions at most a session and just call it. Its gonna take us forever to beat this game lol

First movie was a lot of fun. Hope this one is a return to form.

Tyler Perry has got to be loving this. Films a movie in about a week in Georgia and makes a shit load of money. But I'm sure trump and his cult don't like them for a very specific reason.

I've had friends work on TP films and they're underpaid and over worked. His particular section of the industry isn't too great for below the line crew imo.

The only way to "make movies great again" is to implement gigantic film tax breaks.

Very topical film. Almost feels like it shouldnt exist under this administration lol fantastic script. Amazing cinematography. Some of the best car scenes in a film like this in years. Di Caprio was great, Sean Penn was great, Chase Infiniti was a badass, but Benecio is the god damn GOAT. Always plays the coolest, baddest hombres.

9/10 probz, might be a 10/10. Best movie of the year so far.

They really dropped the ball the last half of the season. This last episode was really bad imo. Visually cool at least and some cool gags, but the writing really went to shit. They'll probably give it as many seasosn as they want though cuz Noah Hawley is FX's main squeeze rn.

I still enjoyed it but every character was really poorly written by the end of it. Shame. Hope they fix things next season.
