Wii U for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Had all of mine taken out last year at once. Procedure went smoothly, four advil took the edge off afterward. Took about two weeks before chewing was really feasible, so also lost a bunch of weight.

maybe they had a bad flavor? turkish delight isn't like one thing. the center gel stuff is pretty consistent across flavors, but i've had pomegranate and pistachio flavor which are both really, really good.
there's also a rolled up version, which is like the gel stuff with nuts inside, then its wrapped inside a nut roll.

The pistachio one is my favorite, I pick some up around Christmas every year

Arzette for me so far, though Shadow of the Erdtree will probably take it overall.

Was a godsend to stop experiencing right wingers and transphobes.

Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 are one long story, but with a solid plot reason as to why you're back at level 1 in the second game.

It gives you rewards based on what you accomplished in the first, which is fine enough for me

Seconding Castle in the Sky. Just finished watching it and it's such a beautiful film

I think Season 1's a little dry, but I did get a genuine kick out of 2-5, especially watching it with the family.

6 might've been the worst of the batch though. Had some interesting ideas that it rushed through pretty quickly and sat there spinning its wheels for a while on nothing of interest.

Soul Hackers 2 cutting part of its story and selling it as day one DLC was part of why I never played it until it hit Game Pass.

Love me some Croagunk~ plus its shiny looks really nice

how is Rise/Sunbreak compared to World/Iceborne?

Very much different experiences. World is more realistic, to describe it one way, with a focus on graphics, the environment and how to interact with it.

Rise is more of an arcade type experience, with the focus more being on getting to the monster asap and with a much more frenetic pace.

I VASTLY prefer Risebreak to Worldborne, but that isn't a common opinion.

That's handy. I've sent a master ball from Sapphire to Soul Silver so maybe I could find something to repeatedly catch until it has a good nature.

Weird they don't let you send over Pokemon with HMs, what's that about? I was going to send over a Ralts because I have a shiny stone in my inventory I might as well use, but it knows flash so that's not happening. Trapinch it is.

They don't want you softlocking yourself by sending out HM 'mons in places or situations where you wouldn't be able to catch more.

Think at the time, I went to Legend of Dragoon next.

And then FF8 shortly after since I bounced off of LoD REAL fast.

Have you played Lufia: The Legend Returns? For a Game Boy Color game it is not that bad.

Unfortunately, that was the last decent game in the series as the Lufia games for Game Boy Advance and DS were both horrible.

The Legend Returns is great, and has probably the best OST on the entire system, it's AMAZING.

Gameboy doesn't have shoulder buttons

Whole Cake is a stellar arc. Having Sanji not be the worst character in the series for an arc was nice as well.

Longsword has a few get-out-of-jail-free cards once you get the hang of timing them

is it the gameplay or the story elements that people complain about? (or both?) Crisis Core was fun but felt so off the wall and strange. I hardly know what to make of it but I got to see Cissnei which I saw in the trailer for Rebirth so I feel like I know enough now to feel satisfied about starting it.

I mostly played it because of tie ins to the games as the remakes seem to pull in from the rest of the spin offs which is really nice but worrisome too.

After all these years, I'm actually not sure what the general complaints about Dirge were? Late 2000s, it was just passed around as gospel that "DoC BAD!"

So, my personal take is the story is goofy in that charming mid-2000s way you could expect from Square with the general concept behind why everything is happening being wicked cool imo.

Gameplay wasn't particularly special, but I don't have much experience with shooters around the time to compare. There's also lots of optional extra missions with different gameplay styles.

It's a time capsule, I'd enjoy it as such~

OldSchool Runescape's only microtransaction is being able buy membership bonds that you can sell on the Grand Exchange for gold, nothing else

It's definitely the weakest of the FF7 Compilation, but I have a soft spot for it. Its final segments are genuinely pretty cool, but it's a bit of an uphill climb to get there.

It's also pretty short, so it's not like you're dropping a ton of time into it either. I'd cautiously recommend it

Which was the last good Harvest Moon game? I played the original, and a GBA one, I think Friends of Mineral Town (which was weird, but fun).

I think I tried playing one on the Wii but it was so clunky I gave up.

Friend of mine who's a massive fan of the genre said that Harvest Moon: Winds of Anthos was really good, and the first time they preferred a modern Harvest Moom over Story of Seasons

Loooool that's literally how I played the game all those decades ago when I couldn't make heads or tails of the battle system, the junction system, or the card battles. Just summoning guardian forces over and over every battle. Then you add in the damn level scaling hoo boy. Which completely screwed me over by disc 3 with the sudden uptick in difficulty after the "incident".

It shouldn't have needed a gamefaqs guide 20 years after the game's release to be able to beat the game, but being able to break said game does make up for it a teensy bit.

I got up until the middle of Disc 2 before realizing summoning Shiva over and over isn't working much anymore and looked up how to properly junction. Which is also about the time I started enjoying the game, hah

The entry point appears to be Miquella's arm in Mohg's Palace, so however early you manage to beat the boss there

It doesn't have a confirmed date yet, but the exclusivity period is a lot shorter than XVI's was and proooobably shouldn't have an Intergrade version slowing it down like 1.

Oh, more info popped, looks like it has the original and a new story, so similar to Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker's approach. Neat!

Pipe dream is SV DLC3/4, but expecting some variety of Unova. Be it another ILCA remake or Legends Unova.

I'd been calling Let's Go Johto for years and gave up on that one around 2022.

Black 2 isn't super long, you could finish that pretty quick and hop on FF7 from there

I love AEnima, but mostly after cutting out a lot of the filler tracks. Like Harry Manback was funny once, but it's a total mood killer on repeat listens

From what I remember you have enough time in Scarlett/Violet to get some use out if the pseudos. Unless maybe you're trying to rush through all the main story stuff as fast as possible.

For sure, Scarlet was the first time since Platinum that I managed to get actual use out of a pseudo. My partner tried in Shield since they got a Dreepy early on from Surprise Trade, but in addition to Dragapult having the second highest level requirement out of all the pseduos, Dreepy is totally useless until it evolves with its super shallow movepool.

edit: oh, wait, no, I used a Hisuian Goodra in Legends Arceus as well. Though literally anything works there with how stats and damage are calculated; I could've left it as a Goomy and done just fine.

Ha! I remember now. I used the ExtremeSpeed Dratini in a Crystal run a few years ago and it was still a Dragonair by the time I got to Blue. I had it use Waterfall or Surf on the Rhydon...and it failed to KO and got 1 shot in return. Bummer. It wasn't very helpful in the Red fight either as a Dragonite. Come to think of it, it didn't contribute much the whole run. Maybe I should have used something else.

Oh, this reminds me of when I tried a run of Yellow with Dragonair. Was a huge drag on the team, no pun intended. RBY finishes way too early for 55 to be feasible.

Berserk is probably my favorite manga ever. I read it during a really low point in life and the story of a man struggling against all odds and managing to make it through even if it wasnt whole really helped me out.

Yeah, as people said, good luck getting Tyranitar at the end of the game lol. Plus it doesnt have sand stream nor get the Sp. Def boost from it either

When the game came to 3DS, I did a run with a traded Larvitar from the very beginning, so it was always getting the extra EXP.

It still didnt become a Tyranitar until RIGHT before Blue.

Definitely Pokemon Gold, probably followed by Dark Cloud
