As a convicted felon, Trump would not be able to vote in Florida till he pays all his fines related to his conviction.

If Trump is found guilty, is he taken directly to jail, or does he only do that when his appeals are denied?

I've heard some defendants are given time to arrange their affairs, if Trump is given that, how long before he has to report to prison?

I think Merchan should ask if Trump wishes to testify, but than again that would probably lead to a mistrial.

It's something you can only shoot for once. If he made a motion for her recusal and didn't have good enough reasons then it would be dismissed and he couldn't try to raise it again, no matter how flagrantly biased she decides to become afterwards.

His only chance is before the jury is seated, because if he waits, she can dismiss the case after the jury is seated and there is nothing the government can do about this case.

The ST desperately needed an outline for what they wanted to say in that trilogy. The whole thing feels like a Freshman English student at a university turning in a rushed paper before the deadline, with a poor thesis and even worse body paragraphs.

TLJ at least tried to not directly copy other star wars movies.

I think it in large part boils down to some people not putting it together that a big part of why RoS was so bad was because TLJ burned down to the ground all the set up that TFA did and thus the 3rd movie in the trilogy didn't really have anything to work with.

Sorry, but JJ Abrams absolutely sucks as a director.

The fact that Disney didn't have a coherent idea of what they wanted the ST to actually do is a huge mistake.

RoS is so bad. In fact the ST is just terrible. They had no plan, the entire trilogy feels like two divorced parents fighting over their kids.

The FBI has rules on the use of deadly force, as does almost every police department. Trump thinks that means that the FBI had orders to kill him.

FYI, Trump's lawyer has argued in front of the USSC that it's perfectly legal for Trump to authorize the killing of his political opponent.

Brahm Resnik of KPNX news in Phoenix on Tuesday shared a thread of posts on X, formerly Twitter, discussing the arraignment of many defendants charged in a scheme to overturn the 2020 election results.

"UPDATE Former @AZGOP executive director Greg Safsten tells judge he can't afford lawyer, is declared indigent and gets public defender. Emails show Safsten was in contact w 'fake electors' architect Ken Chesebro," Resnik wrote in a post.
Newsweek reached out to the Arizona GOP via email for comment on Tuesday.

In another post, Resnik said that defendant Robert Montgomery, former chairman of the Cochise County Republican Committee, received a court-appointed lawyer, instead of showing up with one on his own.

Arizona's Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes last month indicted 19 people accused of participating in a plot to overturn President Joe Biden's 2020 presidential election victory in Arizona while naming former President Donald Trump the victor with fraudulent certifications. Trump was referred to as an "unindicted co-conspirator" in the indictment, but has not been charged.

Giuliani's arraignment in Arizona is going on now. They're talking about the difficulties they had trying to serve him his summons.

Hopefully that means no bond. He's already shown he'll be hard to find.
