It's the most accessible game. As good as NV and 3 are, they're clunky by today's standards and people would get turned off it pretty quickly.

How in the world do you figure? VATs is the same across all 3 games. The whole gameplay loop is nearly identical across all three, except that in 4 you annoyingly have to do a lot more inventory management because you need junk to upgrade weapons/armor/settlements. And settlements arent fun.

It was such bullshit having to beat multiple bosses without dying to take a crack at the new tweaked inner bosses. I gave up on the boss rushes after 20 minutes.

Pearl Jam is still the best live show Ive ever seen. I saw them during the Lightning Bolt tour. No opener, they played for 3 hours, and Vedder did a 6 song acoustic set in the middle.

The problem really is less about China getting our information, and more about how China can manipulate social media to sway Americans opinions. They can, and probably already do, use recommended videos and whatever TikToks version of a News Feed is to get people into echo chambers and increase divisiveness among the U.S. population. Progressive outrage over Palestine is probably an example of this.

Actually, I believe game boards are the main source of revenue. Social boards are essentially a waste of resources to them (someone has to babysit them and they don't make much if any revenue).

Nah, I just didn't like the design of the game at all.

It was too confusing and at times felt deliberately misleading.

My go-to example, though stuff like this happened frequently, was when you get to see the horse in the child era and clearly you want the horse because it takes a long time getting places on foot, but you can't get the horse. Hm. Ok.

Now, as it just so happens, the coolest music in the game is in a place called Gerudo Valley, but the bridge is out. Hm. Ok.

Fast forward (see what I did there?) to the adult era. I dunno how anybody DIDN'T do this, considering the above, but the very first thing I did was go get the horse, observe its incredible jumping ability as we leave the ranch, and instantly beeline it to said bridge that is out, which of course is the only place we haven't been allowed to go. After all, maybe we can jump the canyon.

Turns you, you can! And you're rewarded with a cutscene that confirms you've gone the right way! And you're given a clear objective of what to do next!

Except...

You're not actually supposed to be here yet. Without the longshot, it is difficult at best (as far as I could tell, impossible) to get past the guards undetected. And yet I'm convinced I'm going the right way. And there's nothing overtly impossible about what I'm trying to do, like a locked door or a ledge too high to jump to. For all I know, I'm just really bad at the game.

Nah, hes right (sort of). Id be pissed if I was preparing for a move to a different city and my kid watched this. I dont think its anything wrong with the episode though. Just unfortunate if it gets your kids hopes up that they dont have to move.
