I always disliked how the go to for writing a character off is they die. Like as unlikely as it was what if 2 and half men realized Ashton was a bad fit for the show and decided they wanted Charlie back?

Unmarked spoilers have always been moddable. A famous example being that people have been modded for (Star Wars Spoiler) saying that Darth Vader is Luke's father without marking it.

The main reason for that is how every area in every state has different taxes. In my state medicine, clothing, water and nonprepared foods are not taxed at all. In other places some or even all of those are taxed. But my county has a 7% sales tax whereas most are 6%. I've seen 10.5% in one area in another state. Some states have no sales tax whatsoever.

It would make sense for a locally owned business or small chain to factor it in, but for companies that operate within multiple tax rates(like a national chain like wal-mart) It makes sense because of the amount of work it would take to make sure everything is accurate since the types of items that are taxed vary from state to state and within the tax rates vary from county to county
