Ive seen a good amount (but not all) of Drop outs stuff. And a little bit of Critical Role's stuff. And my friend tells me about other ones like Dungeons and Daddies, and other stuff

Sort of. Theres a new guy in charge, and he took my spot and computer just because he wanted it. I did take my phone and trash can, though. While hes probably not happy, those are mine. He says they arent, but they are.

The other real problem was that he hated me BEFORE he met me And was always talking shit (even though he didnt know the job). He also thought I didnt exist for a while. But that was because I was on the shift after him. And he always left 15 minutes early everyday He was apparently trying to craft a paper trail to get me out of my job. And try to get me retrained, which isnt even how my job works anymore. One of the reasons is because he thought I wasnt doing my job. Which would be impossible to prove. My name was all over pretty much everything we did, as I did quite a bit. And the pilots also wouldnt let that fly. Even around the time when he was still new, I had pilots saying stuff like, Do you ever go home? Youre always here when I land. Or Every time I do my 781, youre always here. So, the pilots could also back my up on doing my job. He did eventually see me in action where I finished most of a debrief before they could even start it, though. So, I think hes starting to realize how much Im actually doing

I decided today to buy it. Its been a long time, so I should have fun

Depends on what you consider active, though. I wouldnt say PotD or the sex board were super active. But we still had people who posted often enough That said, PotD probably has less since more people have left to go to discord, and some probably left for good. And some even transferred over to CE

Though, I like the slower moving boards. CE moves way too fast. And seems like it has too many topics But its whatever

I went to the gym one night. And as I was walking to another area, I remember looking at everyone in the gym. And literally everyone who was there (it wasnt a ton as it was like after midnight) was on their phone. Not too long ago, basically everyone was working out. It was like a switch flipped, and everyone checked their phone. I checked to make sure I wasnt missing anything. But there was like 15 people in the weight room, all sitting or leaning on something and scrolling, and like 5 people in the aerobics room doing the same thing. Even in the cardio room. It was like everyone Creepy

Cant. Out of breath from running. Oh. And not into ladies. Or most guys at the gym

I have done the math, and the liquid detergent is generally the price per load or less, and powdered detergent is generally even cheaper.

The only cost advantage with pods is that most people use WAY more detergent than they need. The stuff I have (Arm & Hammer with Oxi Clean) says to use 1 ounce; that's the very first, lowest mark on the cap, or about 2 tablespoons. You can use even less if you have soft water, and if you have an HE washing machine and are using non-HE detergent, you use about an ounce.

I've watched my roommates do laundry, and they don't even measure, they just start pouring detergent into the machine. My late husband would literally fill the dispenser to the top, which is about a full cup of detergent. (When I first started dating him, he would also do all of his laundry in a single load and he would add bleach to loads with colors! And not a little bit of bleach, but like half a (small) bottle. And he wondered why his clothes wore out so fast!)

Too much detergent not only wastes money, it can actually make your clothes dingier because you might not be able to rinse off all the residue.

Probably Though, its a gamble. It depends on how much laundry detergent they normally use vs how many tide pods they use And how many loads one pod usually does vs how many loads you normally do with the regular detergent. It just all depends, and I havent done the math yet

Yep. Not good toilet paper, though. One guys was going away to a class for alike a month, so he bought a lot of stuff in advance. But it was WAY TOO MUCH I remember having to find a way to Tetris it all in one room. It was too much, so we unboxed most of it to fit it in all the cabinet, and all the counter tops. I remember leaving that building for a couple years. And when I came back, not all of it was gone. But around when we first got it all, I took both toilet paper and paper towels. Both sucked, but were free, which was nice. I think a few others did, as well

Like Korey and Toonstack said, you can message them and get back in most likely. They were doing that for people who were in other statuses when the change took place

The thing I never really liked about Great Bay were the tunnels, and trying to make sure I got all the fairies. The other part was that I always like to do the lead up to the temple and the temple at the same time. If I didnt, it would have been better, giving me more time to fairy hunt I also remember going down a tunnel multiple times to get a fairy that was in one that I kept missing for some reason

I mean, Im into guys. So, I could care less what women think of me and my height. But it doesnt make it any less insulting when you say we look like children just due to our height. You know, in the US, only 14.5 men are 6 feet or taller. If thats you preference, thats cool. Not everyone need someone over 6 foot. Nor does everyone only think tall people look like adult. Idk. When asking about his age on Reddit, the answers varied. But quite a few thought he looked older Its depends on your own perception. For example, being short myself, I dont try to based ages off of height.

Buy a Switch then pay full price for indies when they are usually cheaper on Steam...

They go on sale. And when not on sale, cost the same price that it usually does on steam Plus, easier to take around and play on the go with a switch I can easily play my switch at work. The laptop would be harder Plus, the battery life I think the trade-off is worth it. Its not the same for everyone, though

Its both that (well, I could swing for more expensive PC if I truly wanted to, but I genuinely do not want to. I rather put that kind of money into a nice TV, which I did. That and car maintenance, lol), and "doing far more than what any consoles can do" is pretty irrelevant to the vast majority of gamers out there.....at the end of the day, its as simple as just wanting to play the newest releases. Its the reason we still have so many PS4 and xbox one gamers out there since PS4 ports of the newest games still have yet to truly dry up yet. *Its getting there bit by bit with newer games not being released on previous gen consoles, but godspeed to those hanging on to that PS4 or xbox one for 11 years now.*

I have a PC that is decent enough with playing video games myself, but I honestly haven't bothered with modding anything in years at this point. I do occasionally fire up a emulator for some classic gaming, but the playtime for older games is nowhere near the amount I am playing more recent releases on the PS5 and switch.

*To tell you the truth, 95 percent of the time I'm on my PC like right now I am browsing the net and reading articles, posting here, playing crime videos while I am eating or having music playing in the background while I am on the TV doing something else. The other 5 is playing a indie game on steam. Thankfully these kind of games actually doesn't require much investment to run*

More power to the people who heavily invest in a gaming PC for sure, but for someone like me I'm completely satisfied buying my 1 or 2 gameboxes 500 something and using that for the next 6 or 7 years, gameboxes I know for sure will run every single game or rarely have to deal with shitty ports like the PC has to deal with at times. (I have a series X thanks to my bro hooking me up with it, but since I have it it'll be the thing I'll use whenever that once in a blue moon xbox console exclusive game pops up). My older PC and steam deck are nice options to have to catch those steam games that isn't ported anywhere else, and I am completely satisfied leaving it at that.

Yeah. I like steam, but my switch and whichever other system (probably PS-whatever) is usually good enough. And most indie games, I usually want to play on Switch, anyway

And when my laptop was in good working condition, I was usually doing something other than gaming (usually YouTube or whatever) While a good gaming PC or laptop might be useful, its not needed Especially with the cost

You can equally argue that spending $1000~2000 on a perfectly adequate PC now is significantly superior to getting a PS5 or an XSex. For one thing, they do far more than what any consoles can do, for another, there's never an issue with backlog or shortage of future games. They can also just outperform the PS5/XSex, and they basically will for the entire duration of their lifecycle.

Idk about others, but for me, the problem there is the money. The cost is pretty high, and I wouldnt have enough for it Which is why I currently dont have a working one (or gaming laptop, which would be far more useful for me)

I was speaking strictly current gen games. Most of those are cross with last gen.

There's been very little reason to buy in to this gen at all, even though it's like 4 years in.

If you want some sort of idea how it works, Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube kind of did a version of it. If you had the Gameboy player you could connect your GBA to the Gamecube and it would act as a menu screen.

The Wii U also sort of did something similar for certain games

The Switch is pretty much a 7.5 gen system. Switch 2 is a 8.5 gen system.
Drop the handheld, keep the joycons, upgrade the specs to current Gen. People are playing your systems because of the IPs not the latest gimmick you can think up Nintendo.

They should definitely NOT drop the handheld Thats one of the best parts of the switch. Probably my favorite gimmick, tbh

it feels like at the top level, there isnt the passion for games like there used to be when there were people like Iwata and Reggie, and so a much higher percentage of what they release feel like cynical cash grabs

They are sacrificing power for mobility. They will be 1 1/2 gen behind again chasing it. What we want from them is to be the first choice of gamers. They could rule the roost if they wanted to. They think being in their own lane is the safest place to be. They Don't really have to try hard.

I am kind of surprised that (non-certified) checks are still a thing. Most places refuse to take them for major purchases and everyplace that does usually allows credit/debit cards which are way more convenient. I have used the same book of checks since 2012, and it is still like half full.

I sometimes use personal checked for rent Its works well. But I just pay the landlord, so its whatever. Its a cashiers check if I dont have personal ones, though Or if I have too much in cash from my roommate

Yeah. All of them deploy And its true the ASVAB will show what youre qualified for Which could end up being a job that deploys more, sees combat, or both

I think I know what they were trying to say. But you are correct that deployment does not mean ground combat My co-workers in my field deployment very often, and most of never seen combat
