I was freaking tf out driving that day and couldn't really skip classes since it was an important day. I've always had trouble going to sleep when I'm not tired but that day(or days I guess) was hell. I've been saying for a while now that main series Pokemon games need a longer development cycle than they currently have.Delaying a cog in the machine is almost definitely a bad decision. We all know the quality of these games won't negatively affect sales enough to matter, and they have to time this shit with both the anime(not sure on the state of this post-ash though) and selling cards/merch. I thought a hard mode unlocked after you beat the game.Steam tells me I have 48 hours in the game, and I avoided Free Battles since I didn't want to grind(I did do all the battles that popped up in Exploration mode though). I just got a game at $15 but it's normally $60(and I knew not to buy it full price because it goes on sale often enough), but I didn't know what the lowest price was so I waited for that price to show up again in case it got a worse sale than its lowest ever price. Steam notifications don't tell you what a game's lowest ever price is, and the Factorio dev apparently uses this time I waste as a reason for why it never goes on sale. I am looking forward to Beatbreak but I don't know if I'll watch it while it's airing. It would be cool to watch a Digimon show as it's going for what might be the first time in my life? Or at least I think the first 4 Digimon shows were on a delay for when we got them in America. I just beat Survive tonight and damn was it intense and violent. The SRPG aspect is pretty damn easy which is a bit of a shame. | MJOLNRVII 07/15/25 2:19:26 PM #5 | Monster Hunter is misson based, which most Souls aren't. Souls also has non-boss enemies that matter unlike MH. MH stamina matters less than it does in Souls where damn near anything drains your stamina. Oh and Souls has character progression rather than equipment-only like MH. A level 200 character holding a maxed Longsword or whatever compared to a level 1 character can make a big difference, unlike MH where I can be just as weak as I was in the early game if I wanted(unlike my cat/dog who actually gets stronger themselves). This topic does make me wonder what it would be like if MH-esque games took off. All I can think of that kinda fits the bill is Dauntless, Toukiden, God Eater, and I guess Wild Hearts? Right now I'm finally getting around to playing Survive(was hyped for it for years but then the wait/delays kinda deflated my hype), and then I'm gonna go back to Cyber Sleuth right before Time Strangers hopefully. I stopped watching Digimon shows after the 4th one, so maybe I'll go and watch one of the others. Oh but I did watch the Tri movies as they were releasing. I watched Kizuna for the first time this year, so just one more movie from the Adventure/02 continuity and I'm done there. SomeLikeItHoth posted... Finally got to the episode I was most looking forward to watching, where Kuzuhamon: Miko Mode shows up and it just happened to be the episode where Gammamon mega digivolves.I really like this episode. I rewatched that part quite a bit because I like Makuake, the fight has some of the nicer animation, and just his first time digivolving was great. I really like the part where he ascends to the sky and then he parts almost all the clouds in the sky, so the episode goes from completely cloudy to the weird green sky.
