Yes, I've read some Time Machine books. They did seem a little more intelligently written than the Explorer books. It is fun with the Time Machine books how you can look for the shortest path through, or for a path that lets you see as much of the book as possible without going over the same page twice.

I know I went to book fairs in school, but I can't definitely remember anything I bought from them. Maybe that's where I got my Explorer books; they were CYOA-like books that supposedly taught you something about science. I liked them at the time.

I beat Hey! Pikmin for the first time last night. I found it rather slow and clunky to control, with how you have to use the circle pad and the stylus at the same time. You haven't missed much if you haven't played it.

I know, I feel like I had two potential soulmates in college, but I turned down one of them because she was too boyish-looking and the other because I was intimidated by her intelligence. Of course, I didn't admit those reasons to myself at the time.

There was an episode of the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon in which they ran against against each other to rule the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser used a potion to make himself act friendly, but that probably would've been enough for him to win (Mario and Luigi got rid of the potion before the election, of course).
