But 2 of the 3 guys said they wanted to meet up, then didn't meet up with me.

CE used to really have a thing about ghosting. Perhaps they haven't been ghosted in a while and have forgotten how annoying it is.

Wouldn't this make you angry?

The first time was from an app, and a guy agreed to do a meet up, and then blocked my account. The second time was a guy who wanted to meet up, then cancelled at very short notice. The third time, which happened about 2 hours ago, was someone I chatted with for a while, and then he sent me his street address with Google Maps, which usually means the person is serious and commited to meeting up. I was looking forward to it. I walked over there, which took about 40 minutes, located the small apartment block, and rang the buzzer. The guy I spoke to seemed confused, then it became obvious someone had played a trick on me online, just to mess with this guy. I politely said goodbye to him, and walked home, another 40 minutes. Wtf?

What do you think of all this? Are relationship apps just garbage? Is ghosting normal now? Are LGBT relationship apps just more annoying and less nice to use than straight ones?

I'm surprised people in this topic have met with so many folk. Internet meetups are still slightly frowned upon, and this board isn't that sociable.

This can be anyone you've previously only known online.

I remember when meeting up with someone from the internet was considered a really bad idea. You were walking into a trap, or something. I've met up with about 10 people from the internet, and all the meet ups were positive or neutral experiences.

I remember the buzz the first week Red Dead Redemption 2 came out.

It's basically arthouse films, along the lines of Mubi, BFI Player and Curzon, but it mostly focuses on German films. It's an enjoyable service. I think the brand recognition is very low for most people, though.

pinky, when I was about 20 years old, I had a friend who was roughly the same age as me, but much more worldly, and he explained to me that if you have a credit card and pay off the debt at the end of each month, that's how you build up a good credit rating.

I really don't know much about personal finance, though. Anything else about money you've learned recently, that you should've known in your 20s, or possibly earlier?
