Clark just got her second triple double. She's the only WNBA rookie to ever get a triple double. I am excited to see what she does next.

Out of 8,000+ games played, there are only 35 triple doubles in WNBA history. Never one done by a rookie before this year. She's already got two and was very close to getting multiple others this year. She's already 4th all time in triple doubles lol

Both Clark and Reese deserved to make the Olympics this year. Anyone who says otherwise does not know what they are talking about. They were deliberately left off by the selection committee, who gave poor excuses why they were left off. There are no rules saying that rookies can't play in the Olympics. There was no "eligibility" issue. The league just failed to promote its two biggest stars

A childhood "friend" in my friend group is like this. He keeps leaving and reappearing and not being a consistent friend. Bitter about a lot of things in life

I'm not one to permanently cut people out, but some friends and I have repeatedly expressed to the rest of the group that we don't want to keep letting him back in

Sadly, the rest of the friend group just keeps falling for it. The guy comes in, causes drama and arguments between the friend group that didn't exist before, and then dips for a few months/years before crawling back and wanting to hang out again

This has happened several times and is annoying af. If he's let back in one more time, I think I'm going to put my foot down and not hang out when he's there

But if you were upgrading from a really old graphics card like a GTX 980, it would still let you see an apples-to-apples benchmark comparison between a GTX 980 and a RTX 4080. So you could know exactly what performance improvements to expect

The only "risk" is your SD card crapping out, which has nothing to do with the modding process. The guide literally tells you to make a backup of your SD card's contents and keep it somewhere safe. So there is zero risk of bricking your 3DS by doing this

It's like when people say they're scared to fly, even though the probability of them getting into plane crash is nonexistent compared to a car crash. You're much more likely to brick your 3DS by dropping it than you are trying to mod it

Its yearly revenue peaked in 2020 and was nearly as strong in 2021, but with inflation 2023 only had 50% of the revenue of those years. So they probably see this as people losing interest in Go, and thus another Let's Go game

Some "monopolies" are good for consumers. Steam is one of those (I use quotations because it's not actually a monopoly). Why would you not want your games all on one launcher, with all the bells and whistles of the steam client?

I'm just so glad the epic exclusives have dried up. Seems like Kingdom Hearts coming to steam was the final nail in the coffin for the epic store

Gog is the only other launcher that doesn't suck ass but they just don't have Valves money so they can't dedicate enough funds to really get Galaxy up to the functionality of Steam.

I like gog and buy games there quite often. But it will never compete with steam just by nature of its games being DRM-free. Most publishers don't have the guts to put their brand new games on it. Some put their games on it later though, like Sega and even Sony. For those I usually double dip

That's a shame. Monopolies suck, but I feel like streaming services are one of the few instances where it's actually beneficial to consumers to have everything combined on one platform

As it is now even if you just wanna watch football, you need:

• ESPN+ for Monday Night
• Peacock for Sunday Night
• Amazon Prime for Thursday Night
• Paramount Plus for CBS' day games
• Unsure if Fox Sports has a streaming platform for their day games, but if so then you need that too

For some reason Sony was able to buy up Funimation, Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Right Stuf, and probably more I'm forgetting. They essentially created their own monopoly on anime distribution in the west. Yet anime has never been more popular since you can just get almost all of it on one streaming service

Imagine complaining about other people "not doing enough" charity, when you sit at home all day posting about meaningless internet drama on a dying video game forum

I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, so that families of sick kids at the nearby hospital can stay there with them for cheap/free. But this only makes up a tiny fraction of sick kids all over the country. So maybe I should just stop, it doesn't make a difference after all.

Clark leads the league in assists and Reese is 2nd in rebounds only to A'ja Wilson. They both absolutely should have been selected. Not only were they worthy of being on the team based on their play, but it would have been great for growing the popularity of the game to have them there. Taurasi's corpse being selected over them both was particularly shameful
