Played it once and enjoyed it but late in the game I seemed to get some kind of bug where bosses would barely take any damage. Not sure if my copy was bugged or if I was supposed to do something with my stats. Been like 20 years or so so I can't remember what the stats were like.

You just need to level up more.

There are weird breakpoints with bossdefense and xour attack value.

One more level could be the difference of dealing 1 damage with all your attacks or 10 damage.
Idk why they did that.

Aaaand Clear. 39 Hours to beat the game for me. I know there's tons more to do and quite a bit of the optional content is harder than just beating the game, but I am pretty satisfied I managed to reach an ending.

Now to start tackling other side content until I understand what is needed for other endings. Aside from the somewhat obvious Cursed Ending. Which I assume is going to be more or less the same as Ending A but where things turn out even worse for everyone.

Whats clear for you? What endboss did you kill?

Sting Shard is the deploy-able spike trap that floats around and if an enemy touches it spikes them for pretty major damage. Tacks are the one you throw on the ground. Anyways I've gotten the first Crest that I really like over the original but it's pogo is very awkward to use. Architect. Basically the same Pogo as Hunter, but it's insanely short unless you hold the button down, and then it's super long. But there's also a touch of delay to it. On the bright side however, it seems like all of this crest's attacks might hit multiple times? I really like this conceptually so I'm gonna keep using it, but I'm not entirely sure this is actually beneficial.

Thanks to tips from others I also have Vesticrest so my build options are significantly improved. Time to go learn the third song and then probably spend a ton of time cleaning up side quests now that I'm pretty sure I'm close to 100% power level.

I think architect was my last or second to last crest iirc.

100% ing the achievements is impossible in a single playthrough anyway. There's no need to worry about doing it all right away.

Yeah but this is missable if you just want 100% completion.

Sure if you want the 100% under 30h trophy you can so it there.

If you want to 100% the game and achievements then you need to do something specific before unlocking act3.

Yeah that's definitely something that shouldn't happen.

I understand that they did that so that you have to check out the new moveset but as someone that relies on the compass 99% the autounequip all toola is pretty annoying.

From what i could see at least 1 wish to go and the endboss. A few artifacts and mementos still missing.
