Wheres the official announcement on these games?

How was a 1 day event that nobody really cares about pulling in enough money that it was worth it to give him 200k in the first place? Was he doing other promotional stuff for them? That 200k was way more than the total prize money for all the people that placed in both the mens and womens competitions.

Maybe the other teams can stop beating the shit out of her since shes single-handedly going to increase everybodys salaries.

Sony had more than twice the revenue as Nintendo last year, but Nintendo ended up making twice the profit. Theyre sure spending money on something. PS5 Hardware still sells for a loss for them.

Cars get their front and back windows busted constantly and theyre vertical and have metal and plastic surrounding them. When it gets bad, only being under complete coverage is anything safe.

As someone who lives in Texas and has experienced said hail storms. I doubt theres any way they can design these things to be safe during them, let alone be as easy as pull a pin. Never having one happen in your area is the only way.

Sony is still losing money on each PS5 they sell.

They listed hardware losses as less than expected since they sold less systems then their forecast. They actually listed this as a positive in their releases. Yeah I guess.

I've officially become the person where FFXIV is what I think of first when I think of Final Fantasy now.

I also quite liked FFXVI, but I still gotta play that 2nd DLC that just came out. I was gonna last week but I heard there was a patch coming to fix some issues so I decided to wait until then. (It's probably out now though hmm)

12 was the last one I remember being a big deal when it came out. Even it was polarizing and wasnt quite as big a deal as previous games. None since have ever been an event or held gamings attention. Square Enix is all crybaby nowadays longing for their glory days. Never played 11 and tried 14, just not into MMOs myself. 15 and 16, meh. They say theyre all in on being multi platform now well see. They need to course correct hard.

Its mediocre in every way possible. Having to recoup development losses and the developers having a boner for lightning are the only reason for the sequels. Might very well be the point where Final Fantasy died. Its been a mess ever since.

There will be many hundreds of PS4 games released this year which is what the switch 2 will be comparable to. Sony has no games made by them that will be ready for PS5 until at least March 2025. Call PS4 outdated, but it still gets the lion share of games. No third party will have any excuse anymore with switch 2. If they do, then they need to be honest and just say they cant compete with Nintendo. If thats true, then Nintendo shouldnt change to follow other companies doing worse than them.

Whats the top selling steam game? PUBG at around 60 million? How long did it take that? Mario Kart beats that alone not to mention the hundreds of millions of others. Uh I think Nintendo is doing ok.

If Nintendo did what PlayStstiin is doing where they release their exclusives on Steam a couple years after release, theyd literally print billions of dollars the first day they did it. So many people would even buy Switch games they already own again, because Nintendos hardware is awful and offers no compelling reason for itself to exist. Their software is amazing, but its held back by their terrible hardware.

Theyve made a profit starting day one on all that terrible hardware. Theyve made as much profit during the switch years as they made from all other gaming years combined.

The spider man games can be beaten over a long weekend. Theyre good, but not good value for the money, and certainly not for the amount of manpower and years it takes to make them.

Theyd have to hire like mad and join the race to the bottom that is AAA development nowadays. Bloated budgets and delays leading to losses and firings. Nintendo doesnt need any of that.

that's nonsense, PS5 and XSX might not have many or any first party exclusives but since they're modern hardware they get lots and lots of support from third party developers

nintendo has never relied on third party games so as usual they're essentially supporting the switch by themselves, and with just a few new, original games per year they're not doing a good job of it

and theoretically since they're working with like ten year old tech, and at just HD or less it should take less time and fewer man-hours to make their games than your average AAA game right now

Theyve sold more on the switch than all of their other platforms combined. Id say thats doing a pretty good job. All those other third parties are struggling and having to fire people too. Such a good job Sony/MS are doing providing a healthy marketplace for them. That new princess peach game has sold as much as FF16.

Theyre budgeting properly and making shitloads of money. Nobody else in the industry can say that. Bottomless pockets Microsoft are closing studios and firing people left and right and arent pumping out games either. The PS5 is a wasteland for games too, so Nintendo doesnt deserve any flak for it either. If game development only took like a few dozen people like back in the day then maybe theyd deserve blame, but it doesnt anymore.

Nintendo only has a little over 7000 employees globally. It takes groups of many hundreds of people many years to make 1 AAA game nowadays. Now of course Nintendo games arent on that scale other than maybe requiring a ton of people for Zelda, but their output of total games dropping makes sense all things considered.

Part 3 is going to do even worse. Its just how things go. Dwindling fanbase for each installment.

Thats the board I created a while ago, when I wanted a place to go to in order to talk about issues relating to marriage, parenthood, and other mundane adult stuff. Pretty much everything the Sex board was, but without the "horny posting" which I never participated in, nor liked in the first place.

I always used the board as more of a means to discuss relationships, self improvement, and other issues regarding societal structure and so on and so forth.

So you having to hide and do your own thing and hope all the discussion there falls under your rules to avoid detection and nuking means all of this is ok?

Ive always wondered if Shad Khan was aware of what is going on in AEW and how its filling 18,000 people stadiums with less than 3,000 and that the wrestlers they just featured in that angle constantly lose them tons of viewers in every segment theyre in. I guess he knows now.
