If a remake of RE0 happens it should be heavily remade, like to the point that it's practically a new game that just uses some elements of the original. Maybe they can find a way to make the character swapping and item systems to work but they would both need an overhaul. And the story in the original is silly even by RE standards and should definitely be changed. I think this is the way it would be, because the RE4 remake is exactly like this --- Shoe Salesman. It was the cheapest DVD player at the time and had an absolute shit ton of games on it, let of which werent available anywhere else, because Nintendo fucked up with cartridges and mini-discs two generations in a row so their storage medium simply couldnt hold most games.
