I don't know. Physical still has some drawbacks, even if abandoning it is a mistake.

But it just seems like the best choices is physical for the top favorites and digitial/streaming for everything else.

In 1997, Spider-Man The Animated Series aired the three part adaptation of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars.

Found this site in 1998 and really got me interested in this maxiseries. Which I'd get later in the year. Prior to that, I printed the issue summaries eventually stapling them into book form. Still have them.

I was in my teen years in 99 when I came to this site for Dragon Quest when it was still Dragon Warrior and VII had yet to make it to PlayStation: https://www.woodus.com/den/home.php

So some of us learn it is Dragon Quest and the Enix localization was the only translation we had for I-IV, with V and VI these unavailable games and the first remakes for the Erdrick Trilogy was as AVGN puts it, only in Japan.

Last post for this one. Next thread I'll do later in the month is for Mega Man stuff used, plus some of Wily's inventions in the show.

Now prior to Smash Ultimate, Dragon Quest did cross with Super Mario Bros in an installment of Itadaki Street brought over here as Fortune Street, but SMB wasn't entirely left out of Captain N:

- Warp Zones were the term used for Videoland portals. When Kevin hears about them, he asks if it's like Warp Zone 4 in Super Mario Bros.

- The series implemented SMB sound effects including Mario and Luigi tossing fireballs used for the Slimes spewing acidic Slime.

- S1 music includes some of what we hear in SMB and the US version of SMB 2. Three Men and a Dragon use the Underground and Castle music from the first game, and the boss theme from the second..

- Now even with the DVD ls from the 2000s and streaming, S3 of Captain N due to the short episodes are paired with the majority of Super Mario World shorts..

S2 episodes though also had a similar arrangement with SMB 3. One short from it would start the block, then Captain S2 and then it ends with the other SMB 3 short.

Also the last airing was part of an anthology package of sorts with The Legend of Zelda, SMB 3 and SMW called Captain N The Video Game Masters. Both of the openings in question:

What is a "proper xmen representation" at this point? Have you seen what the comics have been doing the last decade or so? The whole "all new" arc had teen cyke and Jean right there next to adult xmen just like in evolution. Kid Jean outed Bobby as gay so hard even he didn't know it. Everyone is dead and replaced by clones. Beast was written so poorly they retconned like 30 years of development to fix him.

Or outside of X-Men, any adaptation of Spider-Man would have to include the web head going to an alien planet with other heroes and villains to set up Venom.

Plus Apocalypse or anyone else. The character is arguably at his best in a shorter adaptation or continuum where you have room to disregard the usual editorial mandates.

As such you can build Apocalypse up give him some victories then a permanent defeat VS him losing often yet the series still claiming he is the fiercest for they have. Says a lot that he is more impressive in well the 90s Age of Apocalypse.

Pretty sure it means that not all problems are solved with money. If one has self loathing to the point they need to inflict suffering on others, money isn't going to fix that.

Or in the case of Trump or countless people like him, why so desperate to get another million, or sticking with jobs they don't care for. Or bothering to seek public approval?

Mind you I don't think the rich are in danger of going broke even with vanity spends, but I imagine if they stick to necessities and only luxuries of a personal nature, they could afford to live comfortably without tax breaks.

Still liked it to a degree, just less compared to the other games I had or have.

Furthest I got was the boss in the Old West, though I played at one point to get on the pirate ship as well.

On a smaller scale, but still problematic is how arguably the approach to bigotry is that we still have to respect such opinions as if we're talking about entertainment and snacks (Not health essential foods).

But that is another flavor of bigotry in that human rights is equal to or rather less significant snack food and entertainment. As in bad maybe, but not a big deal.

If a kid can be punished for calling a sibling poo poo head, then a grown adult can and should be shamed for proven bigotry not treated like someone who can be respected even if they enjoy Batman V Superman or pineapple on pizzas. I can make my peace with either even being good friends cause those are small fish compared to human rights.

Heck, even if you don't believe in forgiveness, you're putting some potentially better Russians into the situation of dealing with our problem.

Going with hypotheticals (Big unlikely ifs) of any improvement occurring and how to deal with Trump and those beyond helping, I'd go with life sentence with humane cells at best. So basic need for health, but no luxuries.

Maybe news programs strictly focusing on restoring or improving equality with anyone not Caucasian, residential, hetero and/or a man. Including Trump for example having to view charity events with his money being claimed for such purposes.

Unlikely, but that is how I would go.

I still enjoyed it, but closest would be Time Lord on NES. Especially compared to Little Nemo which while hard as well, gave back as much as it took.

Part of the problem is also that prior to 2016, we had more good faith for better or ill and even expecting someone like Trump to get some votes figured it would be painfully small with the mass treating him like a rejected clown.

Or alternatively, back in the early 2010s, some like myself thought that homphobia was based on genuine concerns however stupid.

But you have people who claim opposition to gay rights for example is for the safety of children who I doubt were unaware of Donald "I would totally date my hot daughter" Trump.

Or people who violate everything religious except that lying with another man is wrong. But these people claim the rules are absolute.

And I doubt that it's obscure knowledge that people claiming to look out for kid or serve God can be morally duplicitous.

So yeah, if good faith was the solution, then why didn't it serve us before 2016/2017?

Just that while I have many favorites media regardless well acclaimed, I have me lots of guilty pleasures.

So what makes the comics if anyone else here read them to be better acclaimed than the later episodes? Same satire of old or at least more consistently well written than the later episodes?
