First, congrats on the new relationship! Well, I guess it is 2 dates but still.

Second, yeah, been there. This sounds like my 2 year relationship I had from 2018 to 2020. I was into her too, but she was always trying to get me to come over when it wasn't planned or when I was with friends. And if I dared to say "no", then she would get upset.

There also sounds like elements of jealousy and insecurity there, which can be a massive issue. This continued our entire relationship.

However, this might also be something you are causing by being too guarded because of the past. You say you don't want multiple dates a week, is 2 a week considered multiple? That shouldn't be too much if there is a connection. It also depends on the physicality of the relationship, and I don't know what is going on there.

So hard to say if she is an insecure/ jealous red flag or if you are being too reserved (I know you can be).

The best relationships are ones where you are both into each other in a similar manner, so that this stuff doesn't happen. But at only 2 dates, it is way too early to tell. I know some here will say that being attached after 2 dates is a red flag, but I have had that happen multiple times. It just depends.
Yeah we're not together. Just went out in two dates.

I dunno man.. I also seen to attract women who don't want kids for some reason, while I'm 50 50 at the moment. But that's one reason I'm holding back and haven't fully committed.

I am trying to match her energy in texts and being thoughtful. And I've told her about my personal life. Probably more than she has told me about hers.

Baron_Ox posted...
yea, and it made me be more mindful about relationships.

like, if I couldn't meet someone at their level of commitment/engagement, then it was better to end things than rather keep going and see if I might eventually catch up.

it also made me more graceful with previous relationships, where things might have just ended, and I felt negative towards the person - when the shoe was on the other foot, things ended clicking for me, and helped me understand that things sometimes just ended without needing any deeper meaning (not saying there couldn't have been significant reasons, of course).
Interesting. i see.

It's bizarre. Usually, it's been me or maybe closer to an equal level.

I've had two dates with someone I met online, and she seems to like me a lot more than I like her. For the past two nights, she has been sending me last-minute texts to meet up (we live in the same city). I got annoyed last night, and it got blown up a bit. I feel bad. She thinks I see her as a burden, yet also thinks I should acknowledge that she intended to want to spend time with me and then ask her specifically what days and times she's free, despite only giving me one-hour notice and I first asked her to let me know days she was free--preferably a day in advance at least._.

We've been sending each other long texts for the last few hours. She was insecure about my connection with the last person I was with for a month, who didn't want to work things out for me.

I don't know where it's going. I feel more guarded than the last person I was dating for a month back in February, and want to go at a slower pace... I'm not ready for dating multiple times a week and 3-hour texts every night. Not at the beginning at least. I like that she is easy to communicate with.

The TL;DR version: This is the first time I've dated a girl who seems way more into me than I'm into her. It feels weird. They say it's better to be in a relationship with the woman who adores the man instead of vice versa. She made me last-minute offers two nights in a row to see her an hour before her meet-up when I was busy, and I got annoyed.

@bsp77 ._.

My doctor explained to me this year that liquid protein doesn't work the way we want it to/think it does, our bodies can only process so much liquid protein per hour, so if your drinking 100g of liquid protein between 8-12pm your not getting the full 100g, you'll be squirting out most of that. Best bet is to get your protein through solid means, not liquid. This was from a GI Specialist.
That applies for all protein absorption intake. Solid or liquid. yes, 100g won't be all used/efficiently for muscle buildillng in that time period.

easy way to get protein:

eggs, meat, milk, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts/seeds, whey powder, protein bars.

There seems to be a lot of debate about how much protein is "enough" for daily needs and how much is the upper limit. It also varies by sex and activity level.

https://www.calculator.net/protein-calculator.html?

Says for me:

American Dietetic Association (ADA): at least 82 - 147 grams/day.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): 66 - 230 grams/day (10-35% of daily caloric intake).
World Health Organization safe lower limit: 68 grams/day.

lol.

i wouldn't try to go beyond 1g per lb of body weight unless you are cutting and lifting (well you should be lifting while cutting regardless). Above that and for a long time, and it's not good for you. It's going to affect your kidneys and liver, as well as gi issues like constipation.

For me, getting enough protein isn't an issue. I weigh 180 and I'm trying to cut, but I can do fine at 150g of protein.

It's when I have to eat 3000 calories to maintain my body weight at my current activity level that is a pain. I feel better eating less, though weaker when I'm lifting. But overall my mind and body feels better.. I can get to 3000 a day, but the biggest issue for me is that I"m getting that much from unprocessed foods. i pretty much rely on processed foods to get there. Protein bars, chips, and other processed snacks, particularly at work. Really hard for me to get there from whole foods.

i don't want to meal prep for every meal.

26 days left this year? Is that vacation days?

Sometimes taking a week off for a staycation be worth if it, if you feel like you can get some stuff at home done, or scheduling car maintenance and doctors appointments.

I was supposed to go to Hawaii a few months ago and got it approved, but I canceled going there for the last minute. I didn't buy the ticket and didn't feel like going. I was contemplating on doing a last minute trip flight to somewhere, but chose not to, cause I like planning things ahead of time I ended up staying home and got some stuff done, but it was boring, most days.

If you don't got stuff to do for a staycation and got money, you could always decide to fly somewhere and make the most of it.

Do you have to use your days..? i mean, I know they likely roll over to a certain cap the next year, but can you also do a payout if you decide not.

Not Adderall but something similar.

I got diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago. Has helped my life tremendously. Notably work performance.

I only take half of my 10mg prescription. I do one a day instead of two, and take caffeine in the evening. Supposedly a lot of people increase their doses overtime to 20mg or more. I haven't done that. .
i was afraid of being overly reliant and initially didn't take it on weekends my first couple months. But now I do.

There's a reason why this is a class 1 drug in the states..it's Heavily regulated and requires an evaluation from a psychiatrist like every 3-6 months, cause people can get addicted to it and abuse it. You can't have it mailed to you.

Don't take more than your doctor prescribes. Don't take it if you haven't been diagnosed with ADHD, or narcolepsy.

Every medicine has side effects and not everyone reacts the same. It can increase blood pressure, give mood swings, increase anxiety..

The medicine has increased my anxiety, but overall it's been a net positive.

i dunno. It didn't look too impressive to me. MP1 remastered league, but more stuff going on in some scenes.

MP4 is built from the ground up for switch, but I'm curious if they will aim for 600p/900p 60fps for switch
. They might use some upscaling software and have docked aimed for 720p and aiming for 60fps native but upscaled to 900p, like xenoblade 3.

MP4 for Switch 2 can probably do 1440p 60fps and maybe 4k native. besides higher res and a solid 60fps, I'm expecting better lighting, shadows, and perhaps some use of ray tracing. Several modes. Performance, fidelity, etc.

I think I'll take the muscle building cause having more muscle gives you a higher metabolism, and you will burn more fat at rest.
