Fandom is privately owned. There are no shareholders that they need to explain any business decisions they make to.

Finding it is a bit of a pain. You have to go to Boards, then Community Boards (either at the bottom of the Boards page, or clicking on the More Community Boards button in the Popular Community Boards section), then go to the bottom of the page to find Community Boards - Private. It's in there, assuming you didn't lose access to it.

I think I read that new accounts don't automatically gain access to it. So, eventually, as people get kicked out of it, hardly anyone will even have access to it.

Yes, briefly. I had a Lenny, which I tried to name Kosnowski, but it was already taken. I never fed the pet, since all I cared about were the word games. I played for a month or so until it was obvious that they didn't care about people cheating to get high scores.

The only things I bought at book fairs are sports related, like the book Star Running Backs -- at the time of publication, the NFL's top 5 all-time rushing leaders were 1) Jim Brown, 2) O.J. Simpson, 3) Franco Harris, 4) Walter Payton, 5) Earl Campbell.

Speaking of R.L. Stine, I just found out he wrote the novelization of Spaceballs, of course titled Spaceballs: The Book -- I wasn't even aware there WAS a novelization. Apparently, it's pretty bad. Being published by Scholastic, and being for kids, all the adult humor of the movie is removed.

Do you mean every controller for a system that was current at the time, or every controller ever released as of 2005? If you mean the latter, that's false.

I just looked at my Atari Jaguar controller, and it doesn't have one -- it has Pause and Option buttons. The PC Engine/TurboGrafx doesn't have a start button -- they have Select and Run. The Panasonic 3DO doesn't use words for its buttons, it uses a solid square () i.e. stop and solid triangle / two vertical lines (/||) i.e. play/pause.

But given that the highest any Submariner went for, that still comes up, is less then $55,000 (and that one looks like it's made from mostly 18k gold), I'm pretty sure the one you linked to won't approach mid to high 5-figures, let alone 7-figures.

Currently at $8100. I thought it was going to be one of those multi-million dollar watches, like the Billionaire from Jacob & Co.

From an overall experience perspective, Xenogears (PS1).

From a technical perspective, probably Super Baseball (2600). It was Atari's 3rd attempt at baseball on the system, and they still couldn't even get basic things right -- like the home team having to bat in the bottom of the 9th when they're leading. The Left Fielder can field a grounder and beat the batter in a footrace to 1st base.

I have that on Xbox, but both of my Xboxes died. So, I played it on my Xbox 360. I put in about 250 hrs and it started having Dirty Disc Errors every 5-10 minutes, causing it to crash and making it unplayable. The save file was around 250 blocks, which I'm guessing was the real issue.

The game is too big, with most of it being empty. It seemed to be extremely quest-focused, which I found to be extremely boring. The combat (what little of it there is) is horrible. I also found it ridiculous that some of the NPCs had, IIRC, over 200 options of what to say to them.

Pffft. Rmer for the win.

I remember when you could get a gallon of gas for less than $1.

If you're in Iran, Libya, or Venezuela, you can get gas for under $1 (if the site I looked it up is accurate, it's around 11 cents per gallon in Iran).

I still remember the station where I filled up for more than $1 per gallon for the first time (it's no longer there, as the property was acquired by the gov't for construction).
