Well Sony doesnt have the bajillion studios that MS has, but Im glad the showcase was well received so SONY doesnt sleep its success.

MGS3 was the best one for me. Best balance of gameplay to cutscenes, with the most coherent story of the bunch.

Only 1 and 3, cause I let the reviews for 2 taint it for me back then. Now I see that its a diamond in the rough.

The netflix series was pretty good imo.

I'm a little surprised at just how overwhelmingly negative the reaction to this has been everywhere I've checked so far. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of this at all, myself, I just expected there to be at least a few more people defending it, and the fact that I haven't seen more than a handful makes me think this may truly end up being a major flop. I guess you could say it's giving me Saints Row vibes, and we know how that ended.

There's going to be a gameplay reveal in a couple of days, at least, so we don't have to wonder for too long if this is just a wildly misguided trailer that isn't indicative of the actual game.

I'll still play it and hope its good, but its as if theyre chasing a different demographic with this game. Seems very tailored by a focus group of "17-21" year olds.

It doesnt look bad, but it doesnt look like what Dragon Age should be. Seems like something made by the marketing department. It looks very Vox Machina now that I think about it.

I was 2 weeks off from my job due to a mental breakdown. All I had to do was call the dept in charge and open a claim then email them the evidence. TC's coworker seems to have abandoned the job and its still there by TC's willingness to help. I imagine they must be in a profound state of depression where theyre giving up in life.

Reminds me of a story from my psychology teacher where a new employee in a mental wellness call center received a call from this lady who had just lost her cat. She apparently told him she was extremely sad and felt like dying and he responded by telling her that she was wasting his time, that it was just a cat. The next day they call her back and she had committed suicide. Guy was fired of course. It mightve been during the 70's, 80's.

You KNOW that just giving them this much time actually makes them one of the nicest companies in the US. 99% of other jobs wouldve terminated him a long time ago. Specially in no cause states.

I came to the same realization over 15 years ago. When you compare movies released today to those from 80's, 70's theyre incredibly dumbed down to a teenager audience level. And anything that might resemble a serious, adult drama gets relegated to an indy movie published under A24 and the like.

Once again another symptom of late stage capitalism since those types of movies are what bring in the most cash. What I hate about it, is that its in part creating eternal teenagers. Lots of millennials and gen z seem to be obsessed with pop culture to the point that it has become their personality and stunted their growth. They became what they consume.

Surprisingly EVEN the PHILOSOPHY teachers in Texas are right wing pieces of shit.

It is. For some reason. 9 is probably the third most popular, after 6 and 7. 8 is one of the most divisive.

I think the leakers have stated that its turn based. Also FF9 is the game that represents old school.

Sounds good. The characters and their stories is what made ME2 such a strong game. Also 7 companions sounds good enough. Inquisition had characters like Cole and Vivienne that didnt add much to the experience.

All of that shouldnt fall exclusively on you. You need to call out some people and make them help you. Or just help a little less. Your mental health should always come first. This is a reason that care takers tend to die earlier than the people theyre taking care of (when theyre of similar age)

Yeah, the daughter was my biggest complaint. The script wasnt as solid, imo. The daughter saying "just Quantum" was kind of a slap in the face. Also Michael Douglas didnt seem like he was all in. They have to rest the character. Oh and Kang was too easily defeated,

The 4th movie is probably the worst adaptation.

Its the biggest book and didnt get 2 parts like 7. Then again a lot of it was Hermione with her elf liberation subplot. Its my favorite book, cause its where the fun at hogwarts peaked. Its all doom and gloom after that.
