I'd go with the N3DS. The amount of value and replayability you can get on a budget is hard to wrap your head around. Especially if you turn it into a special 3DS, aside from the 3DS library it natively plays the DS and GBA libraries + the GB/GBC/NES/SNES/Game Gear libraries via Virtual Console injects.

I'm still really pissed that they seemingly cancelled the controller refresh that was part of the leaked product roadmap. It had a lot of needed improvements.

The rest (outside of 2016 and Eternal) is all pretty boring schlock that has aged maybe just a bit more gracefully than Goldeneye 64.

I will never stop bringing up this point, but "X becomes affordable" usually is a harbinger of shit like this and it's more or less snowballed into what we have today.

Why do they do this?

Detailed facial scanning tech is becoming more commonplace but still isn't quite there yet and often times actors' characters look different than their real selves. A lot of developers are too lazy to manually touch up the models and tweak animations.

Naughty Dog is a perfect example of a developer that understands these limitations and works around them. This is why Uncharted and TLOU still have top-tier facial capture

But people savvy enough to daily drive Linux are certainly savvy enough to get content they want to watch in quality formats. There is a whole stack of applications ending in rr that can even automate the process. I havent set those up as I rip my own media, but my understanding is that they take care of everything right down to renaming and organization.

I have a large PC monitor so I view most of my streaming content on that. I still haven't found any way to watch them in their original format.

Yes, but thats not the fault of Linux. Its the platform holders and DRM bullshit.

It's still a huge roadblock and annoyance for people who want to use Linux as a normal daily driver.

If you like streaming content like Netflix, Hulu, Max, etc. then Linux sucks for that. You can't watch content above 480p-720p depending on the platform.

Every day I keep seeing shit that reaffirms it. Think of everyone you know who adopted daily internet usage after the advent of affordable smartphones. How many of them have any semblance of media literacy? How many are them are easily supsceptible to propaganda and misinformation?
