So here is the idea, instead of sending enormous amounts of soldiers to die in wars or negatively impacting the economy due to trade disagreements every country on the planet needs to elect "the guy".

Once that happens any time a conflict between nations occurs and it escalates to the point of no return, instead of a war breaking out, the countries involved will send their guys to meet up and settle the difference 1 vs 1.

Now the twist is that doesn't necessarily mean they will fight to settle the difference, no no no. Along with the election of the position known now as "the guy", each country also submits a way for a conflict to be resolved and this could be anything.

One country might put a fight to the death, but another might elect to solve conflicts by having a game of chess. Some other country might pick a foot race to decide a winner.

Every countries chosen form of conflict resolution will be put into a hat. Whenever two or more countries decide there is no other way to resolve their issues and they need to send their guys in, then they also randomly draw a way to resolve it from the hat.

This would even the playing field and force countries to carefully select their guy to be well rounded as opposed to just being great at one thing like fighting or whatever. I mean what could is having Mike Tyson be your guy when the method of conflict resolution that gets drawn is having a spelling bee?

Either way, every country gets one guy and gets to submit one form of competition. Conflict arises, those involved send their guy in, they are randomly given a competition, winning country gets whatever was negotiated beforehand and the issue is resolved.

Saves millions of lives and a ton of money.

They'll just do the things mentioned, either buzzing or crawling, but they will retain the ability to react to anything you do.

The spider species will be random every time and you'll be allowed to exclude 2 spiders from ever being in the mix.

Killing whichever you choose doesn't stop the cycle as a new mosquito or spider will do the task every time anyway.

I just recently found about 80 of them my parents stored in a box for some reason lol. It was funny opening a few of them and seeing articles hyping up games like Perfect Dark.

It is almost entirely because of the IP. Slap the Marvel characters into Overwatch and it would skyrocket back to the top.

Secondary to the IP being the main reason is that Rivals is much easier to get into and the matches are much quicker. Also less skill cap in Rivals.

The working in stocks idea could make those 2 seconds worth a lot of $$$. Even just in terms of buying or selling a stock at the difference of a penny or two over time would make a huge difference. Especially if youre working with large amounts of shares.

Could also be potentially big with certain live sports betting. Like basketball games for instance that come down to a final shot off of a timeout with less than a second on the clock. Or even just betting on who scores first in a football or basketball game.

Knowing seconds ahead of time if a team wins the coin toss or the opening tip would be enough of an edge to make live betting the first team to score bets profitable in the long run.

As a Floridian myself (albeit on the east coast, but in the path of the storm) let me tell you Im happy and surprised on how serious most people in my area are taking this storm despite the reports that by the time it reaches us (Daytona Beach) it will be significantly weaker.

Its certainly inconvenient, but it was nice to see long lines at gas stations and the grocery store. In the past Ive seen so many people just kinda blowing off impending threats to our area and then bitching about it afterward.

Im hopeful and perhaps a bit too optimistic that we wont see much in the way of serious structural damage to homes and business, but I am completely expecting a long time without power and for there to be a ton of fallen trees everywhere because weve already had so much rain lately that everything is extremely saturated.

Praying for Tampa area though. Ive seen estimates as high as 15ft of storm surge over there. That would be beyond catastrophic for the area. Also praying for our close neighbors here to the north in Flagler. Just recently was A1A (our beachside road) finally finished being repaired and the dunes restored after being wiped out in the last storm that found its way to us. Its supposed to be high tide when Milton passes us and puts us on its backside with the strongest winds shoveling the water downward into our beaches again along the east coast. Many are suspecting its going to once again see the beach completely flattened and A1A give way.

So which way do you think you would go?

Option 1 seems pretty cool. Getting to go back in time and relive your life to this point, but knowing what would happen ahead of time of you chose to do certain things could make for a good time. You could alter a decision though and die or something so it does come with its risks.

Option 2 is pretty straightforward. Just reliving the same day over and over for eternity seems as though it would eventually get old and youd wish you were dead like Bill Murrays character in the movie Groundhog Day.

Option 3 I feel like will be most peoples choice because who wouldnt want to live forever? It does come with the obvious drawback that as the years pass you will watch everyone youve ever known die, which seems really depressing, but at the same time youre going to know so many people that it could soften the blow of losing everyone eventually.

All that said, Im going with the Groundhog Day scenario. Its really no different than option 3 aside from its held inside of a boundary of one particular day, but that has its own set of pros. For instance, youd never lose anyone close to you (unless they of course die on the day youre repeating forever), but at the same time youd never get to forge any new long time friendships.

I do believe Id find all sorts of ways to make the same day over and over exciting. You could also throw all caution to the wind knowing that no matter what youre waking up tomorrow and doing this entire day all over again. I think thats an advantage over the option 3 immortality because you could live forever, but if you murdered someone or something crazy you could spend your immortality in jail.

i paid the price on the blood lab day in july i think. i decided to walk to the bus station so i could go home. ended up getting a sunburn on both arms (only parts exposed that day). so much peeling on my left arm.
