But the one episode where Terry goes undercover in the juvenile detention facility is some creepy-ass shit because those "troubled teen" places exist in real life and the show's depiction of what happens to kids in them isn't really that far from the truth.

In that screenshot he might not have said his English catchphrase, but that "...Sorry" was when he said his Japanese one. Thus you ended up with the "crunch of them turning a bunch of lines into "...whatever", but that he still is waaaay less about saying a catchphrase in the English version.

Though the "dark and brooding" protag was always somewhat the intent. That type of protagonist was pretty popular in Japan during that period, hence why half the cast was some shade of dark and brooding in the game that they made with the intention of half the cast being the potential main protag (FFVI).

Yeah Lyn has been popular from the jump. She was literally babby's first waifu for western FE fans and her popularity has always wildly outpaced her significance in game.

On Average Lyn needs to be 20/10 before she does even a single point of damage to the final boss.

Athos with an Angelic Robe and healing support guarantees a final boss kill on his own. Chip is functionally useless and if you really need it Hector is considerably better for it.

Lyn with max strength and max speed, which even at 20/20 is unlikely, hits the final boss on normal mode for 8x2 damage per combat. The boss has 120 health.

That is the Sol Katti's best case scenario against the one enemy it actually gets effective damage on. Against anyone else the Sol Katti is a Silver Sword with -1 might and 6 more weight. So you are tanking your doubling ability and your avoid by using it instead of a simple Silver Sword.

It is genuinely one of the worst weapons in the franchise.
