I'm more interested in all the weird changes they're making to the assist system. Homelander seems fine but that weird spiky dude that's riding on his back and can be used like an equippable "weapon" opens up a LOT more in terms of gameplay.

That character is Ferra.

First, Ferra is female and she was part of a team up with another character named Torr in Mortal Kombat X. The duo's gimmick was that Torr did most of the heavy lifting and had Ferra as his rider and was an extension of moves like projectiles.

Also I'm going to point out . It's read as "otoko no ko" and it's a play on , which can be read the same way. However, what they mean is different.

Yes, 4 in Japan is how other parts of the world treat 13 because of that reason. Several buildings even skip the fourth floor in their numbering. Depending on how the sentence is structured, numbers may be pronounced in a different way as well.
