Damaged Lady is a song that I actually overlooked back when it came out, despite KARA being basically my favorite group at the time. I didn't get into it until their 2022 comeback got me going back and listening to all the old stuff, and I was left really wondering how I ever could've missed this one. I recently put together a list of my all-time favorite K-Pop songs, and it ended up as the second-highest ranking KARA song. This melody is.... surprisingly not Falcom, it's bizarre. It reminds me of other things; definitely Forgotten Land!Funny that someone would end up making this comparison. A big reason why Quatera got the nod over the other Ys VI tracks I was considering was that, in spite of the difference in instrumentation, it hits me in pretty much the exact same way that Northeast Frost Street does.
