Andor season 2 is the best Star Wars Disney has produced since Rogue One. It was absolutely phenomenal.

Obi-Wan was terrible as a series. But I watched a fan-edited 2 hour movie about a year ago, that got rid of a lot of the silly scenes and pacing issues. And it was really good. So I would rank that up there, but again, not as the series, but for the fan edit.

Mando season 1 and 2 were great. I wasn't the biggest fan of season 3, but it was still good.

I tried to learn Japanese but gave up 20 years ago. One major problem is I don't talk to people. And you have to practice talking the language.

Pretty much the exact same situation as me. I spent about 8-10 months learning the fundamentals: hiragana/katakana alphabet, vocabulary, and about 1200 unique kanji.

But it was all self taught, and I eventually hit a brick wall. I live in the Midwest US, have no Japanese friends, and cannot speak to anyone to actually practice. I watch tons of Japanese TV shows, anime, and news, but that can only take you so far. I understand some Japanese when hearing it, but I couldn't communicate back for the life of me.

Outside of moving to Japan and being completely immersed in the language, or taking actual lessons and the N1-5 tests, I don't see me progressing any further.

Bought a fair share of them, I remember always going off of the box art, looking for the very risque looking ones, because well I was a teenager and anime nudity was kind of a holy grail. Lol

My dad and I loved watching movies, and over the course of the early 2000s into the 2010s we collected tons of DVDs.

After he died, I inherited his movies, and the collection is probably thousands upon thousands of DVDs. It was so big that displaying them became impossible, so we started alphabetizing them into giant, 450-500 capacity cd binders. I have 6 or 7 or them on my media bookshelf. Good memories, and while streaming has become very convenient, I still watch physical media on a weekly basis.

Chapter 1 is kind of an exception, since you have two guests for a lot of it (Delita and Argath). During this stretch, you can deploy up to 4 units (including Ramza), so three generics.

For the remainder of the game after chapter 1, you can deploy 5 total units (so Ramza and 4 generics). When you have a guest character though, the game will only allow you to deploy 4 total units.

I'm not a genius by any means but I think it's safe to say a good portion of the US are mysognist. A greater portion still are racist. And Kamala Harris is a dark-skinned woman. The odds were already stacked against her for that, unfortunately. Half of the country lost their damn minds when Obama became President. There's no way the US is ready for a woman President.

Pivoting from Biden to Harris so late and close to the election also did her no favors. You have Trump's fanbase that has been fueled and cemented for over ten years now, while Harris had a whopping four months to throw together a fanbase.

All my opinion, of course.

So having a little section (the third part) that sounds like something you would hear at a Church Mass, but intermingled with Kefka's theme just to show how full of himself he is. I always enjoyed it.

My least favorite is the second phase. But put altogether it's a pretty good banger.

Dancing Mad is pretty GOATed, but I mean most of the Final Fantasy final bosses have amazing themes. This is all because of how amazing of a composer Nobuo Uematsu was during those years.

Which is pretty funny that he's come out to say over the years that he never really liked doing battle music too much, and was much more comfortable doing main theme and "love" arrangements.

Midwest US the summer is too hot and my main issue is way too humid. We get "corn sweat" that puts a fucking dome on us and it is just miserable.

I'm also in the Midwest and this is spot on. I'd like to add to it, my utility bill is a lot cheaper during the winter months; due to me running the AC almost constantly during the summer where the thermostat is almost always off (except for overnight) during the winter.

I love snuggling up on my couch with a heavy blanket during winter. I'm also very fortunate to only have a 5 minute drive to work; so even during bad snow storms I'm usually able to get my vehicle out and to work easily enough.

I have one Xbox Live friend that I met in real life back in 2008 at the midnight launch of Unreal Tournament. We added each other on Xbox Live and I know his first name but that's really it in regards to personal info.

Anyways, over the many years he was a constant on my Xbox Live friends list. Online almost daily, loved playing No Man's Sky. Last time I talked to him through voice chat was back in 2021 where he told me he was going through some health issues. The last time we messaged each other was back in Feb 2023 because I was playing Hogwarts Legacy and he asked me how the game was.

This was my last communication with him, and he has been offline for the past 937 days. I can't bring myself to remove him from my friends list, but I fear he may have passed away. But since I only know his first name and gamertag, I have no way to contact him through other means or look him up on socials. So I don't even have a way to confirm it, but it's just a hunch.

It's a lot more fun to watch if you pair it with the 1-hour Blair Witch documentary that was made for the movie, which can be found on youtube (and I believe the special features if you own the DVD or Blu-ray).

It was also a very effective horror movie for me because I have a fear of the woods (and woods at night). So even without all of the Blair Witch stuff, it's still just a creepy movie for me to watch.

"Lost media refers to audio, visual, or audiovisual contentlike films, TV shows, music, and video gamesthat is no longer available to the public or for which no copies can be found. It has been a blast to play through again. Nearing the end of chapter 2, but I'm JP farming the hell out of my units making them more powerful than need be but old habits die hard I guess.

Last time I played it was on the PSP back in the late 2000s, but I did so many playthroughs on the OG PS1.

I'm very impressed with the voice acting, and haven't skipped any dialogue because of it. While part of me is sad we didn't get a remastered/reorchestrated soundtrack, I can't really complain because the OG soundtrack is phenomenal as is.

The couple of quality of life upgrades are nice too, and I would say it is definitely an updated definitive version of the game (even with the missing WotL content).

I enjoyed it more than FF13 and FF15, but that isn't really saying much.

The game is gorgeous, and the eikon battles are a fun spectacle. The music is great. The story is pretty forgettable, though the world building is pretty cool if you're into that kind of thing. The side quests are bad, you can tell the team that made this game was very FF14/MMO inspired because they feel just like MMO fetch quests.

The combat is boring. You gain new eikon powers throughout the course of the game but every boss fight followed the same pattern: You do little to no damage with regular attacks, and have to wait around for your eikon powers to be off of cooldown to do any real damage.

Despite it's flaws, I still enjoyed the initial playthrough enough and 100%'d the game. I did not play any of the DLC, and I don't know if I will ever play through it a second time. It was kind of a one and done game for me.

TopicIs it possible to clear out a flea infestation at home wtf
Demigod_Elessar
09/22/25 8:16:07 PM

A lot of other posts already offered great advice, but figured I'd give my two cents because I dealt with a flea infestation about ten years ago.

Don't be discouraged. It is possible to completely get rid of fleas, but it is tough work and you have to be very diligent and repetitive.

1. Give the cats a flea bath. I did this in my kitchen sink and filled the water with a flea shampoo. Use the shampoo on the cats. Be very diligent here and pick off any dead/alive fleas you find on the cat. Have a second person assist you with the bath if needed. I held the cats to where they were fully submerged up to their head, and it was surprising to see the alive fleas rush up to their head (the only dry spot). Use this time to pick them off, and kill them in the water (or smash them in some paper towels).

2. After the bath, apply a vet approved flea treatment to your cats. I got mine from the local vet, they were a liquid solution that I had to apply to the back of their shoulder blades. It would continue to kill any fleas on the cat for up to 90 days. This should allow your cats to start being flea free. The bath to have helped take care of any fleas already on them, and the flea treatment to assist in keeping any new ones off.

3. Vacuum, vacuum again, and vacuum a third time. Anywhere you have carpet, even vacuum the furniture, around baseboards and wall corners. Fleas are very good at hiding and you have to be very diligent with this matter. I also bought a powder flea solution that I sprinkled all over before vacuuming it up. Empty the vacuum immediately afterwards and dispose of the contents outside in the trash.

4. Wash any and all laundry and bed clothes in hot water and with a long, hot, dry cycle.

Steps 3 and 4 need to be done repeatedly for multiple days and weeks in a row. Getting rid of adult fleas is the easist part, but the problem is any eggs that remain behind that can take up to two weeks to hatch. You need to remove any eggs that could be latched onto the carpets, or clothes, or bedclothes. Or they'll just hatch and then you'll have a new batch of adult fleas.

So again, be very diligent with the vacuuming and the laundry for at least two weeks.

5. These don't always work but I did it anyway because I was being very thorough, but flea bombs/foggers. Sometime in between all of the vacuuming and laundry, I would clear the house of yourself and your cats for up to 2-3 hours and fog every room. Make sure any central AC or heat is turned off when you do this.

6. Get a heavy duty home/perimeter bug defender. And spray outside your house too, mainly any walkways, door frames, window frames, any cracks or crevices that lead into your house. Might be a little overkill but you don't want any outside fleas to have a way to get in easily.

And honestly, that was it. It took about a month but I managed to get rid of all fleas when my cats had them about a decade ago.

Uhhh, I don't remember any of the other characters names, just their actors/actresses. Guess I'm dead. Lol

I always assumed it was a badger, especially as Typhlosion.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Love FFT, and haven't played it since the PSP version in the late 2000s. Really looking forward to jumping back into it.

What if it was about Dutch when he first started out as a young man?

I mean, I'd be down for it. All the gang ever talked about throughout the story of RDR2 were the "glory days" of Dutch's gang, and how we were past them. So I'm sure there's a story to be told there. I would just want it to be done well, and not be shoehorned in.

Love both games but have to go with RDR2. Red Dead 1 was one of my favorite games last generation, and I was blown away by the sequel.

Probably the single greatest, most "alive" game world I've ever played in, with amazing characters and story. In between missions, I would often go off road and just explore or wander around for an hour or more at a time. Not necessarily looking for any side quests or stranger missions (though sometimes being rewarded with them), but just because of all of the little interactions and random events you could discover.

Considering RDR2 is one of my favorite games of the past decade, I would love a new Red Dead game.

Not sure what it would be story wise though. Would have to be another prequel if they stick with the Dutch gang. Though honestly, I would be fine with a brand new, original story. Set maybe in the 1870s or 1880s.

The newer age of social media. Not saying that that's a bad thing, but kind of feels like I'm missing out somewhat.

I was around in the early days of Myspace, and then transitioned to Facebook. But then after 2010/2011, I just kind of stopped branching out. Never got into Snapchat, Instagram, twitter, tiktok, or any of the sort. Yet when I meet new people, and talking with coworkers, they're always using those apps.
