I was doing 3 days home, 2 days at the office every week, and the office was awesome because the entire building was basically empty. There'd be maybe a dozen cars in the parking lot but I wouldn't see anyone inside.

This happened to me a few years ago. I'd had the same supervisor for almost a decade. She had some ongoing health issues but it was all managed until COVID lockdown happened. At that point it became such an ordeal just to get to doctor's appointments that she basically stopped taking care of herself and died alone in her home. It was incredibly sad.
