Everyone goes out for food and eats it really quickly while barely paying attention to it then leaves only having taken a few bites.

I'm looking forward to this. The gameplay here is frankly uninteresting and boring to watch, but the setup looks like a cross between Inquisition and Mass Effect which sounds great. And it looks like the game structure is more akin to mass effect as well actually. I'm just excited to see more of thedas and stuff.

And romanceable Lace Harding so 10/10 already.

1) They didn't trust that someone could carry it to the ocean without Sauron intercepting it.
2) Sauron was still steamrolling Middle Earth even without the ring. They needed it destroyed to beat him.
3) There are creatures in the ocean that would be attracted to the ring and it would end up back on land eventually anyway.

No Man's Sky for me. The game design feels ANTI exploration, despite that being what was hyped up as the main gameplay loop. Even all the updates haven't improved it for me. I want to explore the galaxy, not build a space house.

She's only had two games before this and she looked pretty different in both. This to me kinda looks like the N64 look with the hair from Zero.

Didn't really like the story or the gameplay. The story was just the dude having a girl flirt with him and making that stupid small pupil O_O look that they do in bad anime. And the gameplay was the dark souls of puzzle games, in that I felt like I was just throwing myself against a wall over and over until it worked.

Games like Skyrim and Fallout NV shouldn't rank high in top gaming lists if people are only thinking modded versions of them and not the base game.

The internet likes to ignore that these games reviewed well and sold absolute gangbusters on consoles without modding.

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is not very good at all. The cars are super slippery. The boats are physics disasters. And the flying is just hold accelerate and point.

"Finishing" it wouldn't make it any better. The story and pacing were rubbish. Nothing happened for most of the game then the entire plot is explained via tapes. Instead of using the tapes as supplementary material and extra character exploration like Peace Walker, they just threw the entire plot in there.

I never understood the affection for her. I don't dislike her. Her personality just never gets through to me at all. I liked her most in 1, but then again all the characters are best in 1, before they started performing their personality at you like a Robin Williams impression.

I love the idea of Luke becoming a jaded grumpy hermit.

BUT the characterisation in TLJ didn't feel very Luke to me. The little prank style stuff like trying to gross Rey out with the milk or slapping her hand with the grass just isn't something I could see OT Luke ever doing. He was always sincere.

Luke being a failed depressed dirty hermit? Love it. Luke being snarky sarcastic and rude? No. His reaction to Rey giving him his lightsaber should be a "wtf is this?" or a "leave me alone". Not the theatrics of smirking at her while throwing the lightsaber off a cliff. #NotMyLuke

I realise this makes me sound like a big hater. But I like The Last Jedi and Luke might me my favourite star wars character. I just don't think a Luke who had all his students slaughtered by his nephew would have this nonchalant sarcasm in the face of an aspiring new student. He should be MORE pathetic.

I played Seasons first and hated it. Really enjoyed Ages afterwards.

Given how he usually hypes up their shows even when they have nothing interesting to show, I'm guessing him trying to temper expectations can only mean he's going to piss on the audience or something.

Kid Icarus, Metroid, or Link Between Worlds would all be solid picks methinks. 3D Land would be funny for the sake of having every 3D Mario except Galaxy 2.

I think conker is probably the best looking N64 game. But the following generation was such a jump that I don't think there's any N64 games you could mistake for GameCube games.

It's a shame long YouTube videos are dismissed. Some of them are padded garbage, like the ten hour elder scrolls reviews. But ive watched a lot of super long videos with no padding at all. This being one of them. She says a lot more than "it's not worth the money".

I played R&C for the first time a couple of years ago and I was disappointed. It felt so... weirdly dead. Like I was playing half a game. Like they'd forgotten to add the details when they were done. Like trying to remember a dream. Everything's a bit vague and blurry.

I'd be happy for the BBC to be funded through tax and get a big overhaul to be mostly proper news and informational stuff rather than 85% entertainment garbage. But then again that would probably lead to less relevance and people would moan about their taxes paying for it. A catch 22. But the BBC is veering more and more away from being a public service. The massive cuts to the BBC world service recently were tragic. But hey at least we have Interior Design Masters with Allan Carr. And Meet the Richardsons. I really hope we get a program about celebrities going on holiday or trips, wouldn't that be amazing? Well worth the license fee.

People keep referencing budget. But there's plenty of shows with lazy cheap animation without having ugly art styles. And shows with ugly art and decent animation. I don't think the quality of the animation is necessarily the issue. Most adult cartoons look ugly regardless of animation quality.

The plot of Code Veronica and what it does for the overall story is the worst thing to happen to the series. Superpower action shit. Even resident evil 6 was a better horror game. Code Veronica is embarrassing.

Interesting. In the UK there's nothing about "turns" based on who arrives when. Just who has right of way based on road position. I'm not quite sure how it would work based on that intersection though.

Nah. I've gone off multiplayer a lot in general. Me and my friends all use different consoles now. When we meet up we tend to play tabletop games rather than local multiplayer stuff.
