Sure, why not? Been together for over 10 years at this point, and she's seen it all. I don't really post that often though, so I'm not sure there's going to be that much embarrassing stuff, even if some of it from like when I was a teenager would be a little cringe.

^from my observations its usually the older folks that are less respectful of people's time and more prone to make inappropriate comments. I think younger folks generally have better respect for other's personal space and time.
I think this is a inaccurate generalization. I see many young people jabber jawing with other young people, and many old people who keep entirely to themselves. I would say though that I generally see old people as more likely to approach and to talk to young people rather than vice versa.

Meh, lots of people like talking and being sociable at the gym. It's perfectly fine, as long as you're not creepy or annoying about it.

If you have the receipt and you actually bought it from a legit place, and not used, they should honor the warranty, regardless of when it was manufactured. Unless Apple has some stupid rule hidden in their terms, which the probably do, because they're Apple.

Not sure if op is serious or sarcasm.

Maybe it was because I watched it at home and not a theater, or maybe because I was over the age of 15 at the time, but I found that scene to be cringy af. They obviously meant it to seem like a powerful moment, but it hit about as hard as Jared Leto's Joker to me.

TopicWhat was your favorite part of the pandemic?

I think the increased cleanliness procedures were in many ways a good thing, especially in the food industry.

I also like to be idea of doing work that doesn't need to be done in person over the internet or hybrid. I feel like the pandemic pushed people into being a lot more comfortable with this.

Finally, on a personal level, I liked that several of my friends from years ago all got together and would watch movies and old TV shows on discord together, since nobody could go out and do things in person. It actually brought together people that I hadn't seen in a long time, which was nice.

**I guess one more thing that was pretty nice was the fact that I didn't need to get up super early in the morning most days, as I could work at my own leisure most of the time.

Nirvana immediately comes to mind.

They only had 3 studio album, only 2 of which were commercially successful at the time, and yet they are regarded by many as one of the most influential bands of all time.

The obvious answer is sticking your head deep inside of a used Porta potty. While it may be completely terrible and much acutely worse than pretty much all the other options, it is over far quicker than things that would literally be fucking with you for years. I do that once, take a deep shower/clean of myself, and then enjoy my wealth for decades to come.

No, it doesn't.

Ketosis uses dietary fats, unless you are in a calorie deficit, then it will utilize stored fats. A calorie deficit can also be achieved with any diet, including but not limited to the keto diet.

This kind of thinking always bothers me, a non vote or 3rd party vote isn't the same as vote for *candidate you don't like*, I have been told a vote for 3rd parties is a vote for either candidate depending who I'm talking to.
I would put it this way. Who are you most opposed to? A vote for a third party is most likely to benefit whoever you least want to win.

Let's say you're a Trump supporter. You like his policies, but maybe you don't like his rhetoric or you think he's going about things the wrong way, or the criminal charges bother you. So you say hey, I hate Biden, but I can't bring myself to voting for Trump, even though I agree with him on most things. So let me vote for a third party candidate whom I find more palatable than Trump, but doesn't have his baggage. This basically takes a vote away from the guy you kind of like, Trump, and gives a vote to someone who has zero chance of winning. Essentially reducing Trump's vote count by one. And thus making it more likely for Biden to be elected.

Let's say you prefer Biden over Trump, because Trump wants to end democracy and has fascistic tendencies that you just can't get on board with. You find some of Biden's policies okay, but you just don't like Biden. Maybe you are concerned about the Hunter Biden laptop stuff, or maybe you think his handling of Israel just makes voting for him a non-starter. Even though you think his policies are most certainly better than Trump's, or you're at least closer to him than Trump on policy. You decide to vote third party. Again, this essentially takes a vote away from Biden and increases the likelihood that Trump, the person you despise much more, is elected.

In our current system, voting for a third party is equivalent to taking away a vote from the person from the two main options who you are more closely aligned with, but aren't fully on board with, thus making the other person who you dislike even more, more likely to get elected.

TopicDid you enjoy Star Trek (2009)?

At the time it felt like a soulless cash grab, and completely missed the essence of what makes Star Trek what it is.

In retrospect, my opinion of it has somewhat softened. I can somewhat enjoy it for what it is, and it at least has some entertainment value. The fact that it kept one of my favorite series alive is a good thing. Subsequent Star Trek movies and TV shows were pretty rocky though. I did like some of Strange New Worlds, and parts of Picard were okay, but I never actually finished it.

ai is not even on the list of things that can be blamed lmfao
"AI game generators are redefining game development by automating the creation of game elements like characters, environments, and storylines."

You really don't see how this could be a contributing factor to, say, a large, greedy multibillion dollar company laying off 900 employees suddenly to cut costs and increase profit margins?

You seem a bit confused, Torchic.

Most of the flavor of BBQ ribs comes from the sauce, and you can put that on anything. Chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, rice, whatever.
Exactly this. Just go to any decent bbq joint, and you'll probably get what you're looking for.
