In the past, companies generally didn't go this hard unless the outlet was overtly trying to make money. Nintendo is going stupidly hard on this after their win against the emulator (which was valid due to them making money off it), and I don't really know why. It's the same shit they did with Youtube and their dumb partnership program. It's just a bunch of unnecessary hassle that's not going to do anything other than make them look like hardasses.

This argument doesn't hold weight when the top downloads are all widely available releases.

Crackdown coincides with the rise of mobile users having access to such things as well as all the attention on it. Not to mention the Steam Deck as well. People got way too comfy with such things I feel and forgot it's not supposed to be openly discussed and shared.

Well I finished part 5. That had to be one of the most contrived, disappointing endings to an otherwise amazing story *series spoilers ahead*

King Crimson was built up to be such an imposing figure looming over the story, and I swore that his ability to erase sections of time was going to end up being countered by Giorno having inherited latent time abilities from Dio's World. That was the point of making him Dio's kid, right? For it to have some bearing on the story?

Well actually no, Araki wrote himself into a corner with Diavolo being way too OP, so the only counter was to give Giorno the I win button through the arrow (seriously, "your desires will never become reality" is the most ass pull power up ever). Then we get a weird out of place epilogue with rolling stones for seemingly no reason, followed by a time skip to Giorno having achieved his dream of being a mafioso. Payoff without having to show any of the work to get there.

The story is so nearly 10/10 material until literally the last few chapters, and it nose dives to about a 7/10 imo. Such a disappointment.

The entire point was it was an embodient of what an adult male at the time (In this case 1999) would sterotypically think up when imaging "A fun attractive female." since the entire thing is about James' pysche.

Changing it just reveals the devs don't understand what SH2 is about. Regardless of what you personally find hotter.

Not to mention her new outfit literally covers her butterfly tattoo which was the reoccuring theme of her character for multiple reasons.

Bullying the Survivors is extremely cathartic, take away their flashlights and most of them don't have a back up plan.

The game isn't new player friendly at all, especially for killers. They end up facing a 2 to 4 person team that will bully the killer with 4 flashlights or sabotaging hooks

I'm not too far into part 5 (just got past the Moody Jazz intro on the yacht) but the premise is super interesting so far and I'm curious to see how Giorno develops more as a character.

He's very grounded, which is a nice contrast to the flashy and often carefree Josuke. That willingness to go as far as he needs to reminds me a lot of Jotaro and his quick wit reminds me of young Joseph, so it feels like he has good qualities of multiple Jojos

Plus I think it's very cool how Golden Wind's ability is a play off of Jonathan's hamon
