In MGS3 there is like a three paragraph conversation for virtually every single item, animal, and plant in the game.

It's not quite the same as environemtal interactions, but it's still quite impressive.

To be fair, it was because they couldn't get back a lot of the old actors from the first movie and Channing Tatum specifically asked for his character to get killed off.

Iirc Tatum hated the movie. Idk why.....his character was one of the weakest

Well the first one actually had an established team of Joes as well as some crazy vehicles (that acceleration suit aside). I also liked that they did some ninja stuff but didn't go overboard with it. There wasn't much on the villain side I cared for outside of Storm Shadow and sorta Destro.

Second movie literally killed ALL the Joes just to make it a stupid vehicle for The Rock. It was a shame because they went all in with Cobra with accurate outfits and characters compared to the first movie (weird Duke/Baroness connection and "The Commander"). And this scene will always be nuts.

I've only seen Snake Eyes, but I was a pretty big fan. Mainly on the casting (I LOVE Henry Golding and Andrew Koji), but still.

Depends. At least where I live, cop salaries are publicly available. I got pulled over years ago by a cop and was given a ticket. We decided to look at his salary online for some reason and he was making about $130,000 a year.

No, the politics part is honestly probably part of the whole general censorship of information that's also floating around on other sites. I won't jump to any conclusions, but one of the best ways to control/steer large groups is to limit or block access to information and only let them know what you want them to know.

It's already been happening, just gamefaqs is now being dragged into it due to whoever is far far up the chain.

It's honestly probably like most other changes for the greater good of streamlining the internet. Subtle censorship of nsfw, political, and safety information. At this rate they can slowly bleed out the board and even site as a whole, and reach a point where the population is low enough to not even bother maintaining the boards at all. But it'll be packed with ads ofcourse. I mean the whole question and answers feature for a game kinda screwed up the interaction on the board, since you no longer get the same question asked 48 times like the olden days.

Yes, I don't think my parents do, and I had friends growing up that didn't. I was raised evangelical so I didn't for a time as well, but I do now and can't stand evangelical lies.

I tend to dislike the spring forward part, because I am sheltered, very sedentary night worker.
(Note:Rarely ever goes outside nowadays, except to go somewhere [IE:Work])

I like sunny skies as much as the next, but I also would like to go home and have my "morning coffee" after a hard days work and not see that it's light ALREADY.

I also dislike it when it's actually dark by 5 PM. Too soon.

worked overnight before. Hated it though. You really dislike going outside, so you never go to grocery store, shopping? kinda weird

Make DST permanent so it doesnt get dark at 5 PM in winter, as I like to cook outside and having to wear a headlamp is annoying.

One of two reasons usually:
a) PR. They take the hit, but the PR that they receive more than makes up for it. Also, NYU has one of the largest healthcare systems in the city. I bet they make a lot of their money simply from the research and healthcare fees that they receive.

b) Endowment gifts come with conditions. The Einstein school received $1 billion ON THE CONDITION that tuition is free. So basically, they afford it, by simply making tuition free until the endowment cash runs out of money.

none of the news articles even mentioned that though. How many yrs it is expected to be free. Are you a huge fan of this gift, or are skeptical at all about it?
