She was a little ignorant in some ways that made it feel like she didn't thoroughly engage with some of the games she played. I say this as someone who generally agreed with her sentiments.

Most people were just mad that a woman was upset about video games. There were so many bizarre leaps in logic made by these people to justify their self-fulfilling rage prophecy.

My only problem with timed attacking and dodging is just how often they disrupt the pacing. Especially when you hit that point in the game where you have a consistent working system, it more or less just adds excess time and stalls the inevitable.

Unless a game is really difficult and makes doing my inputs challenging and with high stakes, it's hard to really care for the mechanic. Paper Mario has timed attacks but there's surprisingly little interesting about it. Player turn inputs are so easy and slow, and the defenses against enemy attacks are so easy and often-repeated due to the large amount of enemy recolors.

It was good. Some of the filler episodes ("Zoltron", "Restaurant Wars", "Garden's Universe", "Onion Gang", and anything with Ronaldo) were pretty hard to sit through but I don't think they do enough to massively dampen the show's overall quality.
I loved the aesthetic and vibes of the show. Cool music and some really cool environments. I loved the use of color and I really liked how often the show could settle on cozy moments for a bit to put a smile on the audience's faces.

The antagonists were the weakest part. The way the show ended overall was really disappointing.
Future was interesting. It was very interesting seeing Steven's downfall, and I think that the intentional cringe behavior worked pretty wellexcept for that stupid episode with the plant.

I liked the special stages this time around but they were totally a pace breaker. I don't really care for the blue sphere stages or the pinball.
My biggest issue with the game is that it has some annoying pace-breaking bosses. We really don't need a boss at the end of every act.

A lot of toxic behavior stems from a desire to impress or fit in with others. Appearing "cool" and "dominant" can be a huge pressure, especially for those who are already insecure. And it's easy for the victims to take out their suffering on others.
TopicWas it right to (mostly) remove Apu from The Simpsons?

People act like Apu is a caricature in the same way characters like Wiggum or Krabappel were. They misunderstand the fundamental difference between "representation of incompetence, failure, and apathy of public servants" and "Indian who talks in a phony accent". A great many jokes were aimed at Apu's heritage, with basically nothing (besides maybe the constant store robberies) being a satire having anything to do with his role in society.

I'm going to be an aunt soon. My brother's daughter is expected to be born tomorrow and it's incredible news.

I have a girlfriend and she's done a lot to help me come out of my shell. I've been exploring my tastes and sexuality a lot with her. We talk and hang a lot and provide lots of support to each other.

I recently got a small raise at my job. I'm making more than everyone else in the kitchen (including the shift leads) and soon will be begin my training for a promotionwhich comes with another raise!

A lot of neat games have been coming out this year. Lots of cool indie puzzle games in particular, and lots of other indies that have gorgeous worlds to explore.

It was good but had some grating issues. The pacing was really slow due to the sheer amount of repetition that comes with all the skits and cutscenes, which not only felt more numerous than before but also felt much slower than before. The plot gets really, really stupid as it goes and the game's runtime is unnecessarily long. Like other entries, it also suffers from just not having nearly as much variety as a game of its length should, with long dungeons that don't really have much of interest and with a ton of reused enemies.

I did like the combat quite a bit, and the exploration wasn't too bad. The game was pretty polished for a Tales game, too.

The sentiment that they're outdated is always so absurd to me. There are so many kinds of party-based tactics that just aren't very feasible in a real-time environment. The problem is just that so many turn-based games are incredibly boring, slow, and simpleand having action prompts tends to just be a lazy band-aid that doesn't actually fix anything once the novelty wears off.
