For some things it can make sense. Take Nintendo for example, fans had a right to complain about the back half of the Wii era and the entire Wii U era. Thankfully, they course-corrected with the Switch and now the fans are happy again

For other things though, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Naughty Dog for example, does not give a shit about old fans. They are only interested in cultivating a specific type of new fan. This is why they do or say things to, quite deliberately, piss off their fanbase. So idk why fans of their old stuff would even pay attention to them anymore

I'm surprised to see many people decrying this way of thinking though. The "don't think, just consume" toxic positivity mindset is not a good one

Estoma (I think that's the spell?) is your friend. The guy in that dungeon sells you a Pisaca that has it, along with some other support skills

Great game. Buffing, debuffing, and the very occasional grinding makes everything doable. Keep fusing and never get too attached to one demon

People like to overrate the difficulty of the SMTs and act superior to Persona fans, but at the end of the day, they're all just turn-based JRPG. None of them is "hard". In fact, the secret boss of P3 is much "harder" than the one from Nocturne if you're not using a guide

I've bought two AMD CPUs before. One didn't work out of the box, and one died within a couple weeks. Same happened for a friend's AMD CPU

I get that it's probably just horrendous luck on my part, but I'll never buy an AMD CPU again because of it. Never had a problem with an Intel CPU

There are still some good LA-based voice actors. However the Texas-based ones (i.e. Funimation) are pretty much all god awful. Their "best" one who they use in every single dub is Monica Rial, and I can't fucking stand her grating voice. She's ruined several characters for me (Bulma from Dragon Ball, Froppy from MHA, Anna from Fire Emblem Engage, etc)

The very few good Texas voice actors end up in LA eventually anyway, like Laura Bailey or Cherami Leigh. Ones I like from LA include Erica Lindbeck, Erika Harlacher, Abby Trott, Cassandra Lee, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Allegra Clark, Xanthe Huynh, Kira Buckland, Kate Higgins, Stephanie Sheh, Tara Sands, etc

Honestly, it's a good idea for a future Star Fox game where it's like semi open world (you can travel to other planets) and take contracts that pay out ship customization parts and upgrades, and let you recruit new pilots.

The problem is they needed to have taken the Assault formula and built towards this blueprint decades ago. They could and should have made several games over the years that got more ambitious. Now it's too late, and bigger games like that take too much money to make. They would never invest these kinds of resources in a Star Fox game today

Game studios typically hire during a game's development and then downsize a few months before the game comes out. Again, I don't know if Naughty Dog specifically is different

But I know that they were bought out by Sony around the release of Jak 1. Typically when that happens, the teams turnover, like when Microsoft bought Rare. And this tracks, considering the huge shift in tone and gameplay from Jak 1 to Jak 2. There was another huge shift in gameplay and tone from Jak 3 to Uncharted, and a more subtle shift from Uncharted to The Last of Us 2

So my guess is there was a lot of turnover during at least one of these transitions, probably multiple
