Because owning a car is becoming more and more expensive and shouldn't be a necessity for every day life Unless you live in a major city, owning some form of transportation will always be a necessity. Campaigns are fueled by contributions, and a poor or lower middle class person who cares about the people wouldn't get enough rich backers to make it to office.

If you cant taste the difference, odds are you are using an artificial syrup that has butter flavoring in it, cause butter does add a very noticeable difference for the better for maple syrup. The pancakes themselves sort of taste buttery to me. That slab of butter is more like a garnish and unless you use an absolute ton it just melts into one spot so most bites won't even have butter in it. --- This is where cool people write stuff. |

Eh, for a long lived species (basically 11 times longer than most humans), 50 would still be young. Also combine that with Grogu having been traumatized and on the run at a young age, regression wouldn't be too unexpected. A 50 year old baby is quite a bit more than 11 times longer than humans.
