Originally, when I was entertaining the thought process of the guy I quoted (whose message is now deleted), I tried to look at it through the lens of "although extremely improbable, could the person who made the shirt have not known".

The reasoning was "you'd have to ignore the white vs black part" which I guess could be written off as "I just like the colors", the "black power fist" which would have to be written off as "maybe the guy just googled a fist and didn't know", and the paper expression as "maybe the guy just grabbed a stock image of a flat hand and accidentally angled it".

The point is to highlight how generous you'd have to be to either "not see the tones" or to give the creator the benefit of the doubt.

After making the post and seeing a comment about fingers missing, I looked at the fingers, noticed the thumb, and was like "Wait, that's not a paper expression being used to disguise a salute, that's a straight up Nazi salute. Nobody does 'paper' that way.". When I saw it earlier, I didn't see the thumb and thought it was a flat hand.

With that in mind, I don't think there's any level of generosity that makes this not offensive. The black power fist could be excused as extremely unlikely but possible that someone searches "fist" and finds it, but the salute itself you'd have to straight up purposely grab that.

Fucking hell, I heard Tim Kaine talking about his vote and he has this big fucking grin on his face and acting like he's a fucking hero for voting for this shit.

I def prefer the remastered for a lot of them, though some did sound better in the original. I kinda wish Square let you toggle between them like in the FF remasters. Though, I imagine that would be a decent amount of work.

Master Pug is the name of King Tonberry in FF3 SNES

FF6 is my GOAT game (see username), so I'm saving it for last. I also replayed it at the start of last year, so I'm not in a hurry; it was the only PR I bought when they first became available on Switch. I haven't touched any of the other mainline FF games since the mid-00's.

Meta Knight is a villain turned good(?). Same for Protoman. In fact, Zero is the best example of a character-type most commonly misattributed as an antihero.
Batman is a vigilante, like almost every other super. He actively works with local law enforcement.
He's not rude, he's curt. I'd love to see Batman telling Superman to go fuck himself.
He works alone except all the times he teams up and coordinates with other superheroes. He's not just a founding member of the JL, but often the one to actively hold it together. He's also got a revolving door of bat-family who fight crime with him.

And if we're using Wikipedia as an authority:
I actually think Megamind is the best example of what makes an antihero on there. Not because he's secretly heroic, but because he's a loser through and through. He's a coward, uncharismatic, kinda dumb, socially stunted, etc. The only thing he's missing is the impending sense of doom. In that regard, having a criminal MC is an easy way to make an antihero. Tony Soprano is another good one, clearly flawed human and not heroic.

I voted Frieren but it's scary 'cause it's not over. So the ending could end up being bad or it could possibly not get an ending. I do still think season 1 is basically perfect though.
