CRPG was also there but the only CRPGs I've played were D:OS and BG3. It SHOULD have Metroidvania and Roguelikes which are my most played genres in terms of numbers of games. | MJOLNRVII 09/21/25 11:36:09 PM #5 | Finished the demo earlier, which included the start of the game and then a skip to presumably the first Dungeon since it was so short and you got an element like in a Temple in Crosscode. I don't like that some of the puzzles required one specific ranged weapon because I can only imagine that's gonna get annoying later on when there are even more ranged weapons, so I'd have to redo my loadout just for puzzles. Combat feels very similar to Crosscode, only with different melee and ranged weapons which have their own little combo's to do. The elemental moves were weapon-agnostic though and you were equipped with a melee and ranged one of the first element. I don't like that every weapon has its own little tree though just because I liked the way Crosscode's big tree worked. I trust this dev though and will let them cook. I had an easier time going through Silksong the first time than vanilla Hollow Knight, and nothing up to ending 3 was on par with NKG, who isn't even the hardest of the DLC bosses.
