The premise of the question itself is flawed as again, it assumes a person cant have values from both wings. Lean left one issue A, but lean right on issue B. Lean strongly left on issue C, but Lean strongly right on issue D.

Again a person can have a majority of "left wing" typical values, but also believe authoritarianism is necessary to achieve their utopia vision. Agree with the left on 7 out of 10 issues, but lean right on 3 out of 10 issues.

This idea that people are 100% left wing or 100% right wing as some monolith of political thought is just not reality.

Okay but give some policy issues you imagine because what you just said is still a non answer.

Even the topic question itself has an issue as people have this nasty habit of operating on extremes to generalize a whole. Right wing extremism is obviously bad, but left wing extremism isn't a utopia either. A world with no hierarchy whatsoever (extreme left), sounds like anarchy.

What are you imagining a left wing dictatorship to be like?

Aside from the talking heads, conservative podcasts and stupid YouTube videos, they watch and read the same things everyone else does.

I think power hierarchies are inherently evil, but the vast, vast majority of people right and left support power hierarchies (they largely disagree over who should have power over others, what powers, etc.). I don't particularly find a left wing dictatoship to be morally superior just because the guys on top totally say they're for the people. Also you can have very, very socially regressive left wing regimes.

Dictatorship and left wing seem inherently incompatible

thing is S1 was genuinely a once in a lifetime animation industry all star collab, S2's just a slightly above average action series, S3 feels like it has been in production hell so who knows

Also yeah OPM's the kind of series that feels like it works best short, S1 itself already feels self-conclusive enough that you don't really need more of it

Oh, I know. It's still a big reason why people were so disappointed. Season 1 captured the feel of the manga to a larger degree than people expected and it's hard to step back emotionally.

People didn't like OPM's second season? I thought it was decent enough.

The content was good if not quite as good as the first past the King arc; some of the animation for a few key fights was quite great. Overall, however, the lightning in a bottle of the first season in regards to the all sasuga all the time was just gone. It was practically an amateur flash animation most of the time by comparison.

It wasn't actually worse than a lot of mid to low budget shonen, probably better, it just was such a massive downgrade it would be hard for a lot of people to be pleased.

It's a fact that your real feelings can come through in jokes. Humor is often a socially acceptable way to say things that aren't acceptable. I'm not saying people who use offensive jokes are racist; I'm saying racist people like offensive jokes.

A joke needs a point beyond "ha ha I said a fake racist word".

I certainly didn't use racism to be "funny". Regardless, I feel your statistic of "no one became racist" is one of those "90% of statistics are made up" moments. Having fun using racist insults as a joke is a good sign someone might have those leanings to begin with, and note I said "might', before you object. It's simply more likely someone who is inclined to be racist is quite likely to be someone joking that way.

I certainly didn't, I wasnt alive then. But you're right that the US government should be called out for its history. It's not spoken of enough and there should be considerable reperations including return of territory.

So we're one species among many, a grain of sand in a desert, a drop in the ocean. There is no desert without grains of sand, no ocean without drops of water and no circle of nature without animals.

It's a wonder to be able to walk in a forest trail on a cool afternnoon, relax on the beach on a warm night somewhere tropical, stand atop a local mountain, smell the fresh air and say "I was here, and thats amazing"

People do need to get over themselves though, care more about others and the world ya knuckleheads.
