For Fauna? Perhaps, but she also definitely seemed like she wanted nothing tying her to Holo when she left (like not remaining an affiliate and whatnot). It wasn't an ugly split, but she definitely wanted out

Some of them seem to be disagreements to where it's only a mutual split on relatively OK to good terms, and then there's Fauna who wanted the hell out as fast as she could, so it couldn't have been good on that one.

It really does seem like a lot of the older hires really don't like the more idol-y direction that Holo seems to be going in and want to stay with how it was when they started with more freedom.

I know I was blocked once by someone who blocked me for a time for engaging a troll but I was since unblocked by that person and we haven't had issue with eachother since.

As an aside, I put one of the Lemonleaf ASMRs on and wow, this voice is the exact same. The equipment is nowhere as good on these but if she goes back to this with what she has now, it'll definitely be much better.

but yeah, I'm thinking what's happening is Holo is getting bigger and bigger and what they're asking of the talent as a result is not really aligning with what they signed up for. Really, that more or less sounds like what happens when something gets more and more corporate, what you do turns into work and becomes much more rigid, resulting in not being able to do what one wants to do and had signed on to do.

Now the unfortunate question is, who else is going to go

FWIW it's bound to happen with corporate vtubers eventually, anyway. As someone said before, unless their goals 100% line up, they're going to want to leave eventually.

It just sucks that the cracks are beginning to show as they've had now, what, two major graduations and two quickly announced ones? It also doesn't help that with corporate vtubers, the corporation owns the model, persona and all that. That was at least the good side of Vei, Nyanners and Silvervale leaving Vshojo, they could keep their models and whatnot and just continue without restarting.

If it's any consolation, given how Aqua and Amelia basically resumed streaming under a new persona, and graduated for the same reason, who's to say Fauna won't do the same.

It's really strange though, you'd think Holo of all places wouldn't have an exodus like this
