Again, are you serious? The article is about seeing your rapist in public. This is the problem with this line of thinking. You can have something horrible done to you but you shouldn't retaliate or do anything about it. You should just learn to "cope" with it. That's what they are implying there.

Their punishment should be a longer sentence (preferably a life sentence) and I don't think they should just be released in public as if they did no wrong

He is fat and ugly and a conservative nationalist type and whenever the topic came up he always assumed the victim was after money or setting them up. He never faced sexual harrasment himself of course.

A bunch of people try to dismiss them as fake or that the victim is after money or they were set up... I have noticed these are often the very nationalist types as well
It's as if they could never be real. These people likely have not faced sexual harrasment themselves so they make you believe as if that doesn't happen.
