Hysilens/Kafka/Black Swan/Huohuo cleared side 1 in 2 cycles I think, Herta/Herta/RMC/Hyacine did side 2 in 7. Probably could've gone faster if I'd used more of the free ultimates since that side was never really in danger of dying, but oh well I got all my rewards time to ignore the mode's existence for another 6 weeks.

Korra starts with a good season, has one of the worst seasons in modern animation history, then course corrects into two final seasons that range from great to fantastic. It's uneven but fun, so long as you can get past season 2.

As someone with absolutely no League knowledge, what I'm gathering from this topic is that I should pick up Teemo.

Yeah Granblue was fantastic. Very much worth going back and watching the VoD if you missed it live.

So a question here. With most countries party systems he would get thrown out if he did this. Of course Americas is a lot looser. So can he be expelled from the party or can he just go lol jk after the election and keep being a Democrat. Either way absolutely pathetic behaviour.

Given that he's almost certainly doing this with the party elites' blessing, I don't think being thrown out is something he needs to worry about.

A friend dragged me along to see it. I thought it was fine. Solid 6/10, won't change your life or anything but there are worse uses for 2 hours or so. The plot is nonsense, the dialogue is painfully bad most of the time, and the music is utterly forgettable, but the dinosaurs are cool and there's a couple legitimately entertaining action sequences. Very much a turn your brain off kind of movie.

Ironheart beated. I think it's good? I liked it, at least.

Episode 8 might be the best episode of the entire show. It's certainly up there with Rix Road and One Way Out.

I got my very first 12 star AS finish. Left side was Acheron/Kafka/Black Swan/Pela, right side was Big Herta/Himeko/Fugue/Lingsha. Had a close call with Pela falling to like 100 HP but I hit the break right after and it was gg.

All I'll say is that the glacial pacing of the show is a feature, not a bug.

Brave New World was Fine (tm). Suffered from pretty bad writing and the actors had to do a lot to salvage it, but the action was alright and the VFX was inoffensive. 6/10, probably won't watch it again any time soon but I don't regret seeing it.

In general I try to rotate party members based on whatever weaknesses the random enemies have, but for bosses my go-to party is Ryuji/Ann/Morgana. They have a good spread of buffs, debuffs, and heals to deal with harder fights well in my experience.

Does Deepseek still habitually lie when you ask it objective questions about reality? Because if any company wants their AI to actually be useful they need to solve that particular problem first.

It's been a pretty long while since my first playthrough, but I'm pretty sure my thought process went something like this:

1) I have done enough of Ryuji's social link to know he's a pretty good runner.
2) I do not want to send Morgana, because that's my healer and if I need to hold out for an unspecified amount of time I want to make sure everyone stays up.
3) Nothing about Ann suggests to me that she'd be particularly good at this task.
4) Therefore, send Ryuji.

It's a short, funny game with a story that adapts itself to your decisions. I had a very pleasant afternoon with it a few years back. It's not a huge time investment, for better or worse.

I should point out though that Bailu isn't outperformed by any other permanent character, only limited sustains. So she can still be a very good pickup early on and carry you pretty hard. Same for Gepard.

tbqh I would take Gallagher over either of them, and he's a 4 star!

After messing around on the Space Station for way too long, and then beating the game (there were credits! I'm counting it!) I finally made it to Jarilo VI.

Speaking of that 5* ticket, I noticed it too, but wasn't sure what to do with it. Should I wait until I see what I get from that starter warp thing (the discounted one where it says I'm guaranteed a 5* inside 50 pulls I think?) and then decide? Should I just pick now? If so, is there a "obvious best choice" that I'll be kicking myself for not taking? From the above discussion it sounds like Bronya is the best choice?

Of the standard 5 stars, the standouts are Bronya, Clara, and Himeko. Bronya is a very powerful support but she really needs a strong DPS to shine and needs an entire team built around her to get full dividends. Clara is a strong all-purpose DPS who is about as plug and play as any HSR character gets, though she does benefit from teammates who support followup attacks. Himeko is an AoE specialist who is fantastic at cleaning up trash but loses a fair bit of performance when it comes to single targets; fortunately, most bosses in this game regularly summon adds so she usually has something to do, and for general story and overworld wandering she's plenty powerful.

Of the others, Bailu is fine but generally outperformed by almost anyone else you might put in the sustain slot, Gepard can be made to work but runs into similar issues as Bailu and is also less forgiving when things go wrong, Welt is best used in hyperspecialized teams specifically designed around what he provides (which require characters you aren't likely to have access to as a new player), and Yanqing is straight up the worst 5 star in the game.
