Best of luck. I enjoy third shift overall, but it's not for everyone, and certainly requires some adjustment.

Wuthering Waves and Atelier Yumia, as in my sig.

Spent most of the year on these two games; the former out of sheer love of the game, the latter due to eventually reaching a point of being unable to do anything in the former.

I've personally never had a problem. I give enough advance notice that any conflicts can be worked around, and if it's an emergency my employer/boss is understanding.

I don't work in a fast-paced or critical industry, though.

Drakengard 3 Route D final boss

Going from an action game to a rhythm game is bad enough, but that camera and the very last note were maddening.

It's my second favorite series, just behind Zelda. I've thoroughly enjoyed all eleven entries in the main series, including DQX (though it's the offline version), as well as a sizable number of the spin-offs.

The DQXI-themed PS4 is probably the most beautiful piece in my collection of DQ swag, doubt I'll ever part with it.

I wouldn't even be shocked if you could somehow buy your way into heaven if it existed. That people will fall for this is sad, anyway.

Play Wuthering Waves. It's a much fairer, and more generous gacha game. Plus the gameplay is a superior version of Genshin.

Going to second this because I think Wuwa is genuinely a great game, but you're probably better off staying f2p or avoiding altogether. It is comparatively generous, but gacha all the same.

Gacha responsibly or stay f2p, if you play at all.

I wouldn't have the right to tell anyone that. They say the best time to start a gacha is never, but frankly, if you enjoy it and are f2p (or just a low spender), I say go for it. Roughly 600 hours in Wuwa as a f2p, I love the game, no regrets.

Nah, but there are genuinely good games buried in there. The gacha rolls are unfortunately attached as they are. And besides, a game being both fun and free is something of a blessing with money getting tighter.

I think it's still going in JP. Global version is gone, though.

The global version was shut down last year so the JP version following suit was inevitable, I guess.

I stay at around 118 lbs., plus or minus 1-2. My doctor says I'm underweight and tells me to eat more, but I'm just not hungry enough.

Played the Director's Cut version on Wii U and had a blast with it.

Not really since many of it's best exclusives have been ported and enhanced. The eshop being shut down did remind some that the VC was a thing the Switch doesn't have though, so the Wii U got some points for that.

It still has a few worthwhile titles left, so some value is there, at least.

Not a ton, honestly. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and Game & Wario are entertaining uses of the Gamepad. Starfox and Paper Mario are still divisive, but worth a shot if you have this console. With that in mind, some games are worth trying on Wii U if you didn't have them elsewhere - notably Deus Ex and the HD Zelda remasters.

They're shutting our place down one day a week, so we're down to 32 hours per. The break is nice, but I built my spending and savings around 40 hours, so I'm losing money if I choose not to cover it with PTO - which I get a limited amount of per year, so I'm not always taking that option.

Oh, well. Like you, I have some set aside for the occasion, but it does suck.

A local chain in west and middle TN called Rock n' Dough Pizza. They have an amazing fried chicken pizza. Doesn't sound like it would go great together, but it really does.

A very small collection of anime figures turned into a desire to collect Lucy Heartfilia figures in her various Star Dresses, specifically. Not many seem to be out, but I keep an eye out.

Yeah, glad to see them go honestly. They really only work in dungeons not meant for them (DQVII 3DS), in which case, the devs should have taken the time to fix that. In my opinion, there's no reason for them to exist anymore besides nostalgia.
