I recall liking Romper Room as a kid too, but in retrospect it had pretty cheesy puppets, even compared to Pinwheel puppets.

Interesting. I've never played it, but I always assumed it was an average game since it seemed to have good graphics and (I think) it got a neutral blurb in Nintendo Power.

My Masterpieces of Infocom CD seems to be going for a few hundred dollars these days, so I'll say that. I got it long ago for around the retail price.

I pretty much got it to see the stories of the games; I didn't beat any of them without lots of use of hints. There are a few less-popular games on it that I've never played and have never looked at any hints for that I may try to beat fairly some day.

I kept waiting to find out that the mom had been killed by whoever was at the door, or for some other jump scare-like thing, but that didn't happen. So the whole thing seemed to me to go nowhere.

Roughly when she was the host of Saturday Night Live. I didn't watch it live; I probably first heard about it here either shortly before or shortly after. So around March 2, 2024.

South Park clips should be enough, right? I've been watching them lately just because I've felt like it; I haven't been doing it to prove my age.

It does have a lot of good shows if you don't care about watching all the episodes in order from the start. I do wish the on-demand TV shows would always have at least the first few seasons up, so you could watch them from the start, even if you couldn't watch the whole show.
