Not surprised after what they did to Takeru Kobayashi...I thought they banned TK because he wouldn't sign a contract with them, or maybe he was competing in other leagues. This seems totally different. It's nice that somebody else will finally win, but he was basically the only reason so many people watched. If you're not smart enough to see the massive distraction phones are in school, I'm saying you are, or were, a part of the problem when you were in school. I have multiple teachers in my family. All of them list phones as either the first or second biggest problem in schools today. And in the cases where it's second, it's behind gang violence.

Many have made the argument that we are so much better at preventing fires these days (sprinkler system), that it's worth revisiting some older regulations that might have been made with fire prevention in mind.Maybe, but it only ever takes one incident or one idiot in an apartment complex. Somebody did "something" in my last building that filled the whole building with smoke. No fire fortunately but a close enough call that I moved out within 3 months. They never even evicted the guy responsible. But building design code requires fresh air which in some residential builds is only accomplished through exceptions involving windows. And even that aside, using them as a potential fire escape route should be enough to mandate them.

I put it on their porch but they had some sign up saying don't ring the doorbell or our dog goes crazy so I just walked away. I looked back when I got to the sidewalk and they were already closing the door with the package inside. Could've at least said thanks. Next time I'm keeping it.
