which would be fine if the music was cool, didn't restart, the game didn't have to "reload" and I could just push any button to do that.

it's got skippable cutscenes, but that's still a cutscene i have to skip 100 times. game should expect the player to die a bunch. 100% it was designed by people who didn't actually play the thing.

it's not even fun. one checkpoint was filled with firefoxes that made the most annoying noise. enemy placement is designed to be awkward.

monsters are very fast and agile and you are arthur, which is honestly what i want, but there are just undodgeable attacks because of the RNG, or at least it feels that way.

im playing on Knight, 1 difficulty below the hardest, which seems reasonable. Anyway, it has extra checkpoints but the death screen defaults to "restart area" not "restart at banner" which causes you to lose 1-2 checkpoints depending. it's a huge problem. especially since most games like this let your restart quickly. after 10 deaths they add ANOTHER options in between where you want to be and where your cursor is selected--this one lowers the difficulty and restarts the stage like wtf. 10 deaths is nothing in a game like this.

it could be a really fun game but there are bad design choices. ill admit there have been some good sections and it's definitely better than UGnG but the corporate suits don't really know how to make a good tough-as-nails game that has QoL features.

There's also no gallery or anything like that. Remember those? Would be nice.

There is no way to delete a save file in-game. Yes you can save over it, but just being able to delete them would be nice.

I don't know how they could put so much effort into the artwork and just half-ass absolutely everything else.

The music is like watered-down elevator remixes of the original music. Maybe some tracks are new. Nothing stands out at all.

edit: I want to be clear it's not the difficulty that's bad it's the fact that the menu is designed to delete your checkpoints and also that you don't restart fast enough upon death.
