Working in the marketing department the medium wage I make is 150k, and the max I ever made via salary was 250k. But that doesn't include crypto bonuses, and side hustles... ...like I don't care about the technology at all. I don't actually believe that NFTs and The Metaverse is going to change the future. Its all weird, nonsense. But it does exist, and it allowd for people who might otherwise be unable to reach financial security...to do so. It's like the Dawn of The Internet when nobody really new how to make a website, so if you taught yourself and was entrepreneurial enough, then you could make it for yourself. Then same thing at the Dawn of Social Media. Then again at Dawn of Mobile Apps/Games. We are in the "collect profits, and build an empire" stage in the Dawn of Web3, and considering the Dawn of AI is upon us...Web3 is going to even out, and just become another impenetrable peice of mainstream capitalism, so now is pretty much someone's last time to learn how to work thus stuff, and make a good life your and your family. But, this is just a thing with tech trends in general. Notice what's pretty new, and is being adopted slowly by mainstream, and immerse yourself in it, so once it becomes a fixture of society...you have the experience. For instance, to become the Director of Marketing, Communications, or Business Development for a AAA Game Company you typically need 10-15 years experience in the industry. But if we go back to 2019, when Web3 was entering the mainstream you could get same position, with the same salary with only two years of experience. Currently you can still land those jobs with only 3-4 years of experience (I have 7). Now we go to AI Technology. The brand new thing thats really only been around for about a year, and only just now penetrating mainstream adoption...if you have even one year of experience in AI, then you can apply for Director Level Roles! If you were to learn this stuff now, and just join a bunch of discords, and start making friends, and clans, and then contracting your skills...by 2026 you'd have two years experience, in an industry that has only existed for three years, but almost every single tech company in the world will have some sort of department for! That's your opportunity...and who cares if you hate AI, and think its ruining society or whatever. Go learn it, get a career, save for your retirement. |

An opinion usually formed by comparing and contrasting the behavior of others against how that own individual person would behave in a similar circumstance. We judge others based on how we believe ourselves would behave/react to the same life challenges. The issue is that nothing is black and white, and you never know how your going to actually react in the moment until your in that moment. Life becomes much easier and less stressful if one just accepts that evil & good dont actually exist. |

The biggest issue to address when it comes to aquisition is monetization and how the company will get a return on their investment. Honestly, its pretty easy to do with a mobile app. Just not through desktop. The costs to build a mobile app can either be really cheap or really expensive it depends on what the current CRM looks like on the backend. Its not so much converting the code, that can be done, its building the any idiot can do it platform that employees would use to update and add content to the site. |

Overall, I definitely feel it's been a betterment to society, With that said, as with quite literally everything, there are always some downfalls to them as well. This woman is using it as a form of emotional support -- which isn't even a bad thing, its just that the way in which she's doing it is coming at the expense of another person's happiness. Even then tho, social media allowed he ex husband a way to quickly retort. So, more bad than good I suppose -- at the very least its better than the old days of simple gossip & hearsay where he wouldn't have had a chance to defend himself. |

Also some that work off ours and are bilingual in languages that appeal to regions where paid user aquisition campaigns would be targeted. For instance, if GameFaqs were to add a way for developers to claim their individual game pages so they can run promotions or post vlogs and stuff or if the pre-registration button is ever added then their would be an influx of users from China, Japan Korea, and UAE! So you would need a community manager to work on those time zones, and be bilingual. Which even if the platform is English, the devs whom would need a communication liaison would still prefer their native tounge. You could also have the ability to switch languages. Or AI integration for translating to be cross platform. |

They removed a couple of individual messages that you reported. I did the restbecause I wanted too. I instituted rules, started removing stuff w/ pretty detailed mod notes, banning users, etc. SMIB got upset that I was removing his stuff, and I had posted new rules that were clearly geared towards getting him and his crew to stop harass folks. The creation of his deathmatch sub was done in direct response to me making a sticky topic about new rules cracking down on harassment. I did begin to moderate the mod que you were helping generate. That was quite helpful. Ive said it many times before, but Ill say it again. Thank you for that. |

Tails was a frequent member. I made him a moderator because he posted the most. I then got tagged incessantly on the Current Events board a few weeks later. Tails was banned and this place was blowing up because of it. People were claiming my crypto board was a low-key Maga board, and that it should be purged with Tails. I came in and let everyone know it wasnt a Maga board, and on top of that, I was a liberal. People wanted to know why Tails (and another guy whose name I dont even mention these days) was a board leader. I explained why they posted the most. I had dozens of internet sleuths breathing down my neck trying to prove my bird was a Maga board and that I was a Maga supporter. I was doxed, harassed, and caught in this tornado of weirdness. I sat there and stuck to my guns. Folks were trying to get me to admit Tails was a racist, but at that point I had less than a month of interactions with him so I couldnt, and I wouldnt. I kept saying I treat people with the respect they show me. I dont know much about tails but from what little I know, he seemed like an okay person I dont get why yall couldnt accept that answer. I did not post on politics or current events. My entire history with Tails was condescend down to less than thirty messages on the crypto board. But yall wouldnt stop. You just kept tagging me and tagging me. I had already started partaking an interest in the business of GameFaqs I had some topics on user demographics and marketing strategy. But being exposed to CE opened my eyes to one of the most glaring problems of which I had overlooked the vibe and culture of GameFaqs was no longer mainstream, casual, normie friendly. Thats my origin story actually. At least as it pertains to my relationship with CE, and all my pro corporate takeover perspective. As for Tails. As I got to know him over the years, just as you guys got to know himnodont care for him. |

But you still need to be cognizant of how your behavior can influence other users. Insulting a user you dont like can have that affect, and for that reasons moderators need to be held to some level of professionalism. Its a volunteer role, but it does come with some responsibility, and you do lose some privileges that a regular user would have the ability to insult other people for instance. Please take this as constructive criticism. Edit: the above was made as a reply to the moderator who made post #28. It seems they deleted it. So I guess it does hold any relevance anymore. |

Its why moderators, despite being a volunteer position, give up some community privledges in exchange for a smidge of professionalism. |

Looking at that particular situation from an outsiders perspective leads to a lot of debate regarding the moderation practices in of itself. Tails getting himself unbanned would shine a light on potential reform in the current moderation system of which I have massive issues withbut everyone knows that. It would just be me beating a dead horse to continue with it. Also of note, my opinion of Tails himself was pretty neutral up until the recent Reddit harassment shenanigans started. I never interacted with Tails on GameFaqs itself we didnt frequent the same communities, and he got banned like three weeks after me learning of his existence. But back on topic. Yea, DToast is not SBAllen. Allen ran this place. GameFaqs was synonymous with Allen this led him open to harsh criticism. Which Ill hand it to him, I am surprised to learn was allowed to remain visible on the boards. Dtoast, however,is just a mid-level employee. Insulting him is the equivalent of going yelp and insulting the 24 year old kid that works as a part-time Starbucks barista for informing you that the company discontinued Pumpkin Spice lattes. |
