Also my mind is a blank After that episode of Jellyfish.

Ended up watching 2 shows side by side for my "June" shows. Actually started them during my very long Memorial day weekend break. Both summer-heavy shows, both time loops, and both going in directions I never expected. Also shows that aired 16 years apart.

Summertime Rendering and the first season of Haruhi.

Summertime Rendering I never knew anything about, but I watched the first episode last year with my friend and I got major Higurashi vibes. Finally watched the whole thing. Definitely a good show that was easy to binge. Watched the dub, which was hit or miss. Some characters were great, others made me wonder what the hell they were thinking. Also its been awhile since a show had villains I hated this much. Everything involving Shide and Heine, ew just fucking eww, gross. Please die already.

Haruhi I also watched dubbed cause Kyon's dub voice is fantastic. I've heard lots of memes about this show, I know its classic Kyoani, but I never knew anything about this show. I figured it was a standard slice of life that made the genre blow up, but then uh... a lot of stuff happened. And I understood. And yes I watched chronological order cause its not 2006. Of course watching chronological order means its right in the middle of endless eight and was a very weird spot to end the season on. Also, this show needs more Tsuruya.

Finally watched the Black Clover movie. Good ole Shonen blasting stuff fun, even if it had nothing to do with the actual story.

Mostly said about musou games. How many games dramatically change the way the game is played constantly? Some, but not the majority. Does an rpg with the same battle system the whole game get repetitive? Does a shooter get repetitive? Does a racing game get repetitive? It just feels weird to complain about a game continuing to do the game style it was built on over and over again.

Yeah finished D Frag a few days ago. It's been on my list for some time.
