The plot twist at the end came out of nowhere for me and I almost broke down. Like I had absolutely no reason to expect that to happen and it just hit me like a truck.

The stinger with Godzilla's beating heart felt like it aped a little too much from GMK and didn't really fit tonally with the rest of the film imo. Kinda funny since both this movie and that deal with a Godzilla directly linked to WW2 and have the monster defeated by a dad blowing it up from the inside. :P

The last line of the movie hit me like a truck too

Not killing fat buu in SSJ3. By Gokus own admission, he could have done it, but wanted his sons to do it instead risking the lives of people, again.

He was thinking about the future of Earth when he was gone, fully intending to stay dead. At this point I'd say he was overseeing it's future fighters, trying to push them and prepare them.

Fighting Kid Buu, yet again Goku of his own admission dragged the fight so Vegeta could get a turn. Then Goku was out of energy when it his turn again.

Goku thought he could take him. When it came down to it, his physical body was too taxing. SSJ3 was totally different in spiritual form, so when he powered up he has no idea how volatile the form really was. Yeah he wanted to give vegeta a chance, but he got screwed because of his body. Again kinda agree here.

So much that even Toriyama had to deliberately go above and beyond to make it crystal clear that Goku is no selfless hero with DragonBall Super.

This was mostly because of the dub portraying him as a superman like character. He loved fighting but also wanted to protect his loved ones.

Out of all those points I think 2 of them were stupid decisions by Goku. Pretty good considering how many times he's saved Earth and others.

He let everyone off safely and didn't want to leave, to get his fight. Not really selfish when everyone is safe lol.

Intentionally letting Freeza reach earth. Goku had 0 idea who Trunks was, or if he'd even help. Instead of teleporting there, he chilled in his ship and metaphorically speaking wished upon a star they'll be fine.

Nope. He said to Trunks he was gonna use instant transmission but sensed his power level spike, so sat back and let him deal with it.

Intentionally not stopping the androids, before, they were awakened. He was made aware of their danger, and his reasons for not pursuing wasn't some sense of justice. Him and Vegeta wanted to fight them.

If that was the case, why didn't Trunks deal with it. They simply didn't know where Geros lab was. The whole reason why they were searching for him when he fled Piccolo and Vegeta

Intentionally fighting Vegeta which he was fully aware was aiding in energizing the return of Majin buu. Dude was stronger than Vegeta, but Goku being Goku intentionally dragged the fight on because he values fighting above all else.

Majin Vegeta was unhinged and was Intentionally killing innocent people. In fact that was what goaded Goku into the fight in the first place. It was selfish, but stupid. He could have ended it with SSJ3 but wanted to save it for the real threat, Vegeta fucked it up by knocking him out, trying to take buu on himself.

Just came back from Starbucks, been writing my story and thinking about an argument between three characters regarding the predicament they're in.

DBS did well at the end. Goku Black, Hit, Tournament of power, Ultra instinct, the Broly movies and Super Hero. All kinda blew the internet out the water.

Hit 3283 words for the prologue which was supposed to only be 1000 lol. But it turned out to be much more in depth that I thought it'd be, maybe I'll keep the length.

Gonna head to starbucks again tomorrow near the station and put some work in on the first chapter.

You can always edit it down or repurpose it later, but don't worry about that now: keep writing.

Prologue has hit 3000 words so far, will start chapter 1 soon. Been slow because of work but thats good, means I don't get burned out easily.

A lot of you may not know, but I've been writing stories since I was in secondary school. Now that I've settled in Japan, I have free time and I'm continuing a draft of a story that I started writing back in London.

It will most likely be on my PS5. I have a very good desktop computer but I don't like playing games on it anymore.

I mainly just want a game I can relax and play for a bit after work or before going to bed.

Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game of all time and Zidane is my favorite character of any game ever and I heard there's some easter eggs in the newest expansion ... not that I'll even get to that point any time soon.

People are trying to change it into him being an actual Samurai, probably because of the recent Assassins Creed game. So basically now its seeped into historical Wikipedia articles.

One more point, I'm making it a mission NOT to find other foreigners to make friends with. My LINE is full of mostly Japanese people and I'm actively using my Japanese to improve and integrate as much as I can.

I really don't see the point in moving to Japan and then just keeping to a foreigner social bubble for the rest of your life. Its such a pointless thing to do and I've seen others do this.

Its not outright bigoted. But you can feel that you won't be "one of them". Just like every other culture, such as Arab culture, Pakistani/Indian culture and even Korean. Its not exclusive to Japan.

And that's something I don't really care for. I don't see myself as part of a group identity. I'm my own individual and I've always been, even in London.

Love it. I'm not into anime, more the culture people and way of life. Also love the music and entertainment industry (idols, movies, celebrities ect).

Its so chill in Osaka, and work as well is good. Seriously, if this keeps up, I'm probably not gonna leave and look for an indefinite stay. Probably move to Tokyo next year too.

London really took the life outta me and it feels like I'm recovering here. Granted its only been two months but I had people telling me after a few weeks of work I'd hate it. Have no idea where they were getting that from.

And yes, I've met a few girls and hanging out with them more soon.

There is a ass creed game where you play a black woman during the slavery era of America. Had a weird gimmick of changing outfits to alter abilities and what places you could freely roam.

She was a black girl lucky enough to be adopter by a rich white family so she had a high society type dress that would allow her access to most public places but combat and climbing I believe where restricted. Had a slave outfit forget what abilities it gave or removed. Then the typical assassin outfit which let you play like a normal creed game.

Yeah it was liberation and I really enjoyed it. Again it was a spinoff, would be nice to have an Assassins Creed mainline game set in a slavery setting (Well not "nice", but interesting) that has a whole background for black characters going into their roots. Or maybe just set one in a black country? I'm sure they have a lot of untapped lore there that can be explored for the masses.

I'm just annoyed it's a half assed attempt at including a black character. Why not set it in a black setting where you actually delve deep into black history and characters? That'd be way more cool. It just feels like they're looking for brownie points. There are so many characters in Feudal Japan worth exploring and they settle on the one black character, when there are other much more important figures. Again it's so lazy.

Make a game based around black history. It's about time we had a big game like that, not indies but an actual AAA game. But no, that'd require some actual effort and respect towards the culture. Something these huge corporations have no intention of doing.

Edit: Assassins Creed freedom cry was pretty good, now they can try and make a whole game with something like that, not just an expansion.

This is normal TC. I think about my ex in retrospect almost the same way. Except for the therapy part.

its why jo wasnt in season 3 or 4. the fanbase hated her for flirting with dean.
the fanbase were more accepting of mother figures for the boys and as they got older they also liked daughter figures like claire

There were wars all over the map lol. Was fun as hell.
