Shovel Knight doesn't have anywhere near GOTY pedigree. Mina the Hollower would have to be explosively popular to be anywhere except best indie. I don't see it. To be fair, Shovel Knight was console exclusive to the Wii U at the time. That definitely hurt it back then. If not for that, it might have had more GOTY nominations and even wins. --- Video Games are pretty cool. |

The Shovel Knight pedigree ought to count for something. I think it would too. Shovel Knight is very beloved. Mina also looks super good from previews, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if it's GOTY-level good. --- Video Games are pretty cool. |

That being said, if they want to make a AAA remake of VI, I'm not opposed to it whatsoever, I'd be hyped as hell, but it honestly doesn't need it. --- Video Games are pretty cool. |
