At the real final boss and ugh I'm gonna hate this. Phase 2 fucking SUCKS (and I'm still very much of the opinion giving every boss 2 masks damage for collision was an REALLY stupid/bad design choice)

So something I noticed today I've been using the architect crest for 3 weapons + poison. In act 3 when you fight enemies where you have to play the needolin first to get into the area, for some reason recharging health while airborne seems to replenish my tool supply.

I have no idea why this is but it's making the fights here considerably easier

Looking forward to this. Hopefully it sells well enough that it prompts 4 and 5 getting similar treatment.

Halfway through S1 of Daredevil and this shit had me hooked really quickly

and holy crap is that a Private Pyles I spy?

Kinda got the itch to watch some marvel stuff again and have never watched any of the TV series, it's always been the movies.

So what's good and what's trash?

We onto act 3 now and if the first enemy gauntlet is anything to go by, shits about to get real hard

So beat the phantom fun fight.

Now onto a new area (to get ingredient no.4) called the Sands of Karak and I already hate it, the runback when you die here is horrendous

Just found the bench in the exhaust organ. Am I pretty much locked here until I beat the boss or does leaving mean I'd need to do the Mist section all over again?

And because I stumbled into the mist it's meant the map girl has now disappeared from bilewater :(

So time to find her in this zone then

Just stumbled into some place called the Mist, what on earth are these white ghost things

2 changes I would like to see are:

-bosses that are downed don't deal damage
-Collison radius and damage down Moorwing fight was fucking murder for this

Just got past the cogwork dancers in act 2, what a cool ass fight.

Well you heal for 3 rather quickly. Movement is way better/faster which really opens up dodging after you get dash. Rather easy to get silk back and you can also heal in the air.

Like if a lot of enemies didn't hit for two this game would be an absolute cakewalk imo.

Tools are pretty strong tool and can outrange most bosses enemies with different damage types.

I think it's pretty balanced with all the factors.

Yeah I'm just finding this area sinners road really rough going at the moment. The enemies in this area are really fucking me up

Also I don't want to cave and join all the whiners but near enough everything dealing 2 damage when bonus masks seem hard to come by is starting to feel like a really stupid design choice

How do you open the door where the shop is in the far fields? Can hear something growling behind it, when I play music some text shows up but nothing happens

Also need to find a key somewhere for a door in the deep docks

Just beat widow , now that was a fun ass fight and god the adds in the sister splinter fight SUCKED.

Patched the boss in Hunters March, probably gonna wait for more masks for that one

Ok I'm about to cave, where's the vertical pogo'ing charm?

Trying to get through hunter's march and it's really busting my balls. It was the one aspect I didn't overly enjoy in HK and it's way worse in this game

EDIT: Not far behind is the PS5 controller. The amount of times I've hit square and the big fucking button in the middle so the menu has popped up during combat is also frustratingly high

Yeah that and Traitor Mantis i thought were pretty fucking difficult, the "real" final boss took me awhile aswell.

None of that comes close to Nightmare King Grimm though, that fight is ROUGH.

Excellent game all in all though, Thursday can't come fast enough

Another upvote for Brood War UMS, shit was hellishly fun.

Of recent years I loved the game of deceit Throne of Lies. Sad that the game died of toxicity and the developer making dumbass decisions
