I dont get it. When Im stressed at work being with my wife makes me feel better. Not worse.Same with my wife. The problem seems to partially be that TC is resentful that the partner has it easy, which is incredibly unfair. It is not the partner's "fault" that their work and life is easy. I had an ex who got mad at me that she busted her ass as a nurse while I had a cushy work from home corporate job. On the one hand, yes it is unfair that she busts her ass for less money. But our society causes that. It was also unfair that she got resentful at me, but the difference is that she is causing that. I eventually broke up with her for many reasons about her behavior. If she had somehow been the one to ask for a "break", there is no way in hell I would have waited if she decided to come back. TC, I hope this isn't coming across as too harsh. I hope you get yourself to a better place. But I also hope you don't waste a good thing because of your issues. That is assuming this is the right relationship for you, and I am not convinced of that simply based on the things you say. Maybe you have never had a great relationship? You are either doing this because you want to sabotage any chance of a healthy relationship (because of fear or something else) or you are going after that "high" that comes from more extreme situations. I've been there, once again post divorce, and it can be exciting, but it also becomes depressing pretty fast and leads to no real contentment. Going after more stable, available women may be seem boring on the surface but it leads to something real, and you can still create excitement with them by living an active lifestyle (both in and out of the bedroom lol)

People outside of this area have no idea how good of a job that is and how good they pay just for building tractors.That is awesome. I like it when blue collar jobs make a lot. I have been with someone who was living with her boyfriend. That was a messed up situation where she wanted to get away from him, didn't love him anymore, and said he was alternately emotionally distant and emotionally abusive. But she couldn't afford to leave. Not condoning her (or my) actions, but there was at least reasoning and a possibility for real feelings (which actually did end up saying I love you to each other.
